I decided to put together a Bosnian patriotic league kit with the stuff I had already lying around.
The patriotska liga was secretly formed around on June 10th 1991 as a paramilitary militia for defending the borders of Bosnia in the event of a war as tensions in Yugoslavia where rising. Sure enough on the 6th of April the war started in Bosnia and the patroitska liga mobilised. On june 23d 1992 it was eventually disbanded and absorbed into the ARBiH (main Bosnian army) about 379 days after it was formed.
Most patriotska liga kits where a mix of yugoslav national army gear, sometimes Bosnian gear (mostly locally made by tailors), sometimes foreign stuff (rarely), and civilian clothing. The reason for this is because of the lack of proper equipment as it was difficult to get in that period of time so basically anything that was available was used.
Weopons:
Alot of hunting rifles, shotguns, and pistols where used due to the scarcity of assualt weopons. But sometimes you would see a pieces like the zastava M-70 or anti tank weopons like the zolja that where smuggled out of the Yugoslav national army facilities. Unfortunately as of now I do not have any replica firearms to go with the kit (planning to get some nice ones in the future).
Anyways here is the kit list:
2.bosnian woodland variant with P.L. (patriotska liga) patch
Bosnian made vest. the vest actually uses mol 68 Camo (the camoflauge in the background with the brown and yellow stripes) but unfortunately for whatever reason the tailor decided to invert the cloth so the other green side is showing (it can be seen inside the pockets for mags, grenades, etc). Although I must say the tailor who made it had very good skills as the sewing is absolutely perfect. It consists of 3 magazine pouches, 4 grenade pouches, and 2 bigger pockets (one on the front and a bigger one on the back).
Yugoslav RV i PVO (Yugoslav airforce) dark blue utility side bag. I added this in as a example of mixed gear that was seen on Patriotska liga soilder during that time.
Yugoslav army leather belt with gajka
Yugoslav army M-70 bayonet
Random pair of jeans
Random pair of converse sneakers
If you read this all the way thank you, not many people are interested in the specific subject I guess.

Hello guys, I am currently having a little problem(maybe a big lol) figuring out the size of NVA Paratroopers Beret in cm.
They do have a normal size markings in most of their Berets but sometimes there are some of them marked with number 1, 2, and 3(There could be more but I have not seen yet) so I can not find the proper info about this sizes.
So does anyone know about this size markings? If so, can you tell those sizes in cm?
I am looking foward for your kind answers.
Thank you.
