Am I the only one who found it very weird and bad

HOW are exams getting leaked genuine question because first of all so unfair and so stupid to profit off of that and second of all how TF does it even happen? is it like students??? Or IB people or teachers leaking them (also idk where it was cuz I’m not subscribed to anything but people form my school said that the leaks were accurate for some exams)

I took so long to work on a graph in pencil that I didn’t have much time and just rushed Section B of my paper 2 with pencil, I don’t know if the scanner will pick it up but I was wondering if it’s possible for the scanner to report the paper and for it to be graded physically or something like that. I’m really worried and I have let my coordinator know, because I know my work is done right I just wouldn’t want it invalidated just because I wrote in pencil..

I’m impatient and I wanna know if the answers I put are right or not. Ofc I remember very but still, we can discuss if you remember. But how was it in general?

Paper 3 tomorrow. Who tf actually thought it was a great idea to have 3 long ass essays when we already have paper 2 for that typa torture. Start work outs for your hand and pray it doesn't cramp up and start bleeding by the end of that damn exam. Genuinely might cry over this btw.

edit: that actually went so well...I genuinely hit flow state and ignored my cramping hand till the end. Good job yall we never have to touch history again!!

Which is easier

I’ve seen a lot of students struggling with IB French writing—especially when it comes to structure, arguments, and sounding “natural” instead of robotic.
So I took a common exam-style question (global issues + inequality) and rewrote it into what a Band 7 response actually looks like.

What most students get wrong:
They translate directly from English
They don’t structure arguments clearly
They use basic vocabulary even at HL level

En tant que membre du club « Les défis mondiaux », je souhaite attirer votre attention sur ces injustices. Ayant moi-même été témoin de discrimination au quotidien, que ce soit à l’école ou dans la société, je comprends l’impact émotionnel et social de ces comportements. Trop souvent, ces réalités sont ignorées ou minimisées.

C’est pourquoi nous avons lancé une pétition visant à lutter contre la discrimination et à promouvoir l’égalité entre toutes les cultures, origines et croyances. Certains pensent que nos actions sont insignifiantes, mais chaque petite initiative peut provoquer un changement significatif.

Nous vous invitons à signer cette pétition et à partager vos expériences. Ensemble, nous pouvons construire un monde plus juste et plus inclusif. Agissons dès aujourd’hui.

Sup! ENGLISH LANG LIT HL! And ECON HL! How are you guys preparing? And is there any advice because I’m genuinely hitting bottom rock, especially for paper 2 I’m not even sure what text I should use HEEEELP! Im thinking of using The Doll’s House, but for other text im so confused😞 oh goddamn it might be over, no IT IS OVER.

business HL
design tech HL
math aa sl
physics sl
spanish ab initio

Ive gone through the unis that I want to attend (polimi is my top 1) and all of them dont require any IBDP subjects, Im just afraid that physics SL and math aaSL might not be enough for architecture but i also am afraid that if i change them to HL i wont get the grades i want or just be too pressured

Should I change any of my subjects??

Hi, this might seem like a stupid ask but it’s been on my mind for so long now and I need more opinions. Also I read the rules and I’m not TECHNICALLY an IB student YET and I’m also gonna get pretty personal so take down this post if I go to far.

I am someone who puts way to much pressure on myself, I strive to be perfect in everything I do and it has caused me a lot of stress. I have had REALLY high anxiety and school has often caused me to have sucidal thoughts and self harm wishes and stuff. All that fun stupid mental health stuff. But despite that I have really good grades (as of right not) and a super good work ethic and like never procrastinate!!!

Even with this my course rigor is relatively light (Only 2 honors classes and AP Art) My IB schedule certainly isn’t the hardest one out there (My HLs are all humanities and my science class is IB Sports) I’ve been really wanting to do the IB program since I was in freshman year but the stress it might put on my is my biggest concern. I know IB is super stressful and demanding and trying to handle extracariculars on top of that might be a death sentence for me (I would like to have a job, be in school plays, and consitently be able to manage my homework and practice piano and just being able to have fun and do art :( ) I know those might not sound like the most sophisticated use of my time but they are really important to me. To me IB seems like it actively encourages learning rather than memorization like AP. But i’ve also heard terrible things about IB and heard that I might not be able to manage all of those things and stay on top of my IB work. In my second semester I have built in a extra study hour for myself but I do not have that first semester.

I was hoping I could get feedback from real IB students rather than “fear mongers” on TikTok that act like IB is totally worthless and will ruin your life. And maybe it is! Maybe I’m just in denial. As you can see I’m quite out of sorts but I’d still like to know if it’s really as bad as they say it is :(

I found it so much harder than past papers I've done.

Hey!! I got accepted to kings law but I’m not sure i can meet the IB condition of 38. If I were to get like a 37/36 would i still get in and be fine or would it be an immediate rejection?
