Hyderabad is about to GLOW 🌌 Lantern Festival on May 9 – don’t miss this magical night ✨

Hyderabad is getting something straight out of a dream this weekend… a full-on Lantern Festival lighting up the night sky 🔥🌌

🗓 Date: May 9, 2026 (Saturday)

🕡 Time: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM

📍 Location: Via Moka, Shankarpalli Road, Hyderabad

Imagine this — hundreds of glowing lanterns rising into the sky at once, live music in the background, good vibes all around, and that perfect aesthetic night you usually only see in travel reels 😮‍🔥

This festival is inspired by Thailand’s iconic lantern celebrations, so expect a super dreamy setup with:

✨ Sky lantern release moments

🎶 Live music & jam sessions

🍔 Food stalls & chill hangout zones

🌙 Cozy, aesthetic night vibes

It’s not just an event… it’s one of those “main character” nights you’ll remember for a long time.

If you’re in Hyderabad, this is honestly one of the most unique experiences happening this month. Grab your friends, your camera, and maybe someone special 👀

Pro tip: Reach early if you want the best lantern release experience.

Anyone else planning to go? 👇

hyd, saturday is actually insane this week

we somehow managed to pack the entire city into one day

founder runs at sunrise, sound healing, chess at KBR, badminton, volleyball, tennis, self-defense workshops, book talks, fort hikes, OTT meetups, mango + ashtachamma nights, tarot on a terrace, house parties in banjara hills, theatre shows, football, padel, brew & banter and somehow even philosophy over poker

honestly if you’re staying home this saturday… that’s on you

what are you pulling up for
