I finally got my Arsinist lullaby tatoo
This is the song that got me into Hozier and I have wanted this tatoo for 10 years now

Had quite the surprise while seeing Adrien Brody and Tessa Thompson in The Fear of 13 on Broadway tonight: Work Song is performed in full during the play! It's a gorgeous acapella arrangement, about halfway through the show. It looks like the music in the play isn't listed anywhere online, and no one else seemed to be talking about this on any fan forums, so I wanted to make sure it was documented somewhere!
For me it’s Fare Well.
And I, I wouldn't fare well
A kitten cozy in the engine type of wouldn't fare well
I'll take any high
Any glazing of the eyes
Any solitary pleasure that was sorrow in disguise
Let the sun only shine on me through a falling sky
A song not often spoken about I know but Can anyone explain the meaning behind the song? is the narrator ( Hozier or unreliable narrator ) saying he could care less about a person or cares too much about someone.
"If I was a stampede, you wouldn't get a kick "
"if I was a riptide, I wouldn't take you out"
Has Hozier ever mentioned it in interviews?
I can't recall which circle it fits into.
