Think this is a totaled?
Rear ended on the highway going about 60. No airbags deployed but a huge impact due to speed. I’m hoping it is since we have only had it for 9 months and I’m not thrilled about that being on the vehicle history….

Saw it earlier today , looks like an imported Honda of some sort , never seen it before
This van literally knocks our socks off. Has everything we would want really, other than the Honda vac. Got it for a decent price with an extended warranty, and rather low miles. It didn’t come with any floor mats at all though, and the headphones were dead. Those things can be fixed and when you check every other box available things like that can be overlooked.
So with that we’re wondering what’s the best all weather floor mat for these? Weather techs? Do I need stock ones for weather techs on top? Also I want to get a sunroof and window visor set. Any recommendations on those? Thanks everyone!!
Where are all the East Asian actors in this production?
You're all so concerned with black and white that you forgot yellow exists too.
What is it with affirmative action being so racially biased towards black people when they're overrepresented for their population demographic in both the US and the UK.
Whereas the East Asian demographic are extremely under-represented in film and tv in the US and UK.
You need to spread the word that race isn't black and white! It's yellow too!
I know they have to take out the seats, dash, etc, estimated 10hrs of labor.
I brought it in because the 90degree FARKA connector broke. Took it into the local Honda dealership and was quoted $9300 to fix it, basically replacing the whole floor harness.
That's a fu price right? I have no backup camera, no radio, nothing, center console is dead. I contacted a local Honda repair shop and they have an idea to fix it but no guarantees but says it's a lot better than replacing the whole floor harness.
I think this Odyssey has cost over $10,000 in the past two or three years in repairs and maintenance.

Purchased this beauty on Monday. She's got 166 k on it from one owner. I've had never taken out a loan for a vehicle before and have this pit in my stomach. Worried something major is gonna happen. Also the TV doesn't work any tips Honda fam? Context it's a 2018 elite. We have always drove beaterish vehicles and this thing is like a damn spaceship with all the tech and power everything
blurred the owner and their license plate to protect their identity. hope they get the help they need :/.
I know it’s the engine coolant indicator but I don’t know why it’s coming on when I first start up the car. It’s a new 2026 Touring that we bought about 10 days ago. The light goes right off afterward but comes on each time.
My recently purchased 19’ Odyssey doesn’t have the auto idle stop button above the SNOW & ECON buttons on dash. When driving conservatively, the ECON light on dash that many describe has never come on.
Did some years/models not have this feature? Could previous owner have removed the button and/or put a VCM Muzzler on?
We gave in and got rid of our 22 Pilot and got this new to us 23 touring! So much more roomier for the 4 kiddos and my husband has loved driving it. He’s 6’3 and notices a difference in the feel.
Do you regret it? We have 4 kids and 2 dogs that go in the vehicle from time to time. Any tips for it?
I just found out that the internal DVD player was removed. This makes the Odyssey MUCH less valuable to me. Will they bring back the Blu Ray? IF I do get a new Ody, how have the aftermarket mini players worked? Do they skip on bumpy roads? I have a 2019 Ody now and was going to upgrade to a new one, but I have ZERO desire to faff about with extra bits and pieces. I also don't subscribe to the wifi and don't Hotspot with my phone. Yes, I'm a dinosaur.
I’m in the market for a van and I’ve test driven both the odyssey and the Sienna. Both seem like great solid vehicles. Once I got home and started scrolling through reddit threads on both everyone seems pretty doom and gloom on the Odyssey. I live in Florida and see a ton of AC issues being mentioned, along with the VCM damage and transmission issues.
I’ve driven an accord for 11 years and put 200K+ miles on it, so I love Honda and love the features of the odyssey for the price, but man the hate the current Odysseys get makes me pause.
Are the ones complaining the minority? Or are there serious issues with the current generation? Because that sonic grey pearl touring is calling my name.
It's time for me to replace the timing belt and water pump on my 18 EX along with the front lower control arm on both sides. I decided to use my Costco discount (15%) and got this quote from a local independent shop. The price seems too good to be true considering I was quoted $3500 for the timing belt and $1400 for the lower control arm at my local Honda dealership.
Does this price look okay or throw any red flags?
What questions should I be asking on the parts?
Honda is considering bringing all-wheel-drive to the next generation Odyssey, which is now not expected until early 2030.
The Odyssey, which has had two midcycle updates since its last redesign in 2017, will see its run extended at least three more years, with the next-generation hybrid model now targeted for March 2030, according to a supplier memo reviewed by Automotive News.
Honda had considered temporarily dropping the minivan but decided against it to keep customers from defecting to rivals, people briefed on the plans said.
In the minivan segment, where Honda holds strong retail share with the Odyssey, concerns about the aging models are particularly acute.
Some retailers worry the front-wheel-drive van will lose ground to the newer Toyota Sienna, which offers awd, as Honda’s model continues to age.
“Honda has been selling Odyssey forever with front-wheel drive,” a dealer said. “But some people dismiss the Odyssey because it’s not all-wheel drive.”
Any recommendations for replacement ? Solenoid doesn't seem to have a leak . Will the dormant gasket set be good to fix it if it is leaking
Had a p0301 code engine misfire cylinder 1. Replaced the plug and cleared the code but it shows "permanent" .
Chatgpt says it should automatically clear after a few cycles and miles. No CEL and it runs smooth.
Anyway, #1 was a little difficult but not as bad as I thought it might be.
Just looking for some thoughts on 2-5. And honestly hoping to hear they aren't any more challenging than #1.
Local shop wanted $668. This seemed way too high.
Hi Odyssey fam, long time lurker. Decided to get an Odyssey soon for our family and currently see a pre-owned 2024 Odyssey Touring with 12k miles for $41k.
Question is... Should I go with this pre-owned or a new 2026 EX-L for about the same price? All prices are before tax and fees.
What's a better "value"?
Our brand new 26 Odyssey EX-L is only getting 14.6 mpg. I usually only drive it short distances of less than 10 miles, but this seems excessively low. I do turn the start/stop off most trips (when I remember). Is this normal, or should I bring it in to be looked at? I kind of feel like the 19mpg/city is blatantly false advertising. I love the van otherwise, but with gas prices as high as they are, this is a fairly big deal.
My rear seat well keeps getting wet after rain and I cannot figure out where the water is coming from. Any idea?
