Musical help wanted
Hey everyone, I am an 18 year old recent highschool graduate with a love for film and music. I am going to college majoring in film but music is where my time goes. I have been in love with hip hop from a very young age and just had to make my own.
I’m looking for sound engineers that can mix and master my tracks for me and/or teach me how. I’m also looking for producers to make beats and artists to collaborate with.
I’ve never made a post like this before so idk what else to say but if you are a:

Are you stuck agonizing over your mix?
Tweaking.
Exporting.
Re-exporting.
Slogging through tutorials trying to figure out why your mix still sounds flat.
Your vocals sound tiny and struggle to cut through. The overall mix sounds small, muddy, constrained… and this is the tenth time you’ve gone through the process, with each version somehow sounding worse.
You’re the type of artist I’m looking to work with.
I’m building my mixing/mastering portfolio and taking on a handful of artists. One song per artist.
I’ll deliver a fully mixed and mastered version ready for release/distribution. Genre doesn’t matter.

❓what is it❓ an open music collective, ANYONE can join, don't care about skill level, language, location, etc. NO requirements, NO commitment, no member limit
❓what we do❓ make songs and post on youtube NON-PROFIT. Everything (beats, mixing, visuals) done by imperfecto members, for free and just for fun!
each song has at least 2 people on it. Any imperfecto member can make a song at any time, get some other member(s) on it, then submit it for posting. Don't care if the song is good, i'll post everything😂❤️🌏
on youtube, video title format is this: imperfecto - song name (ft. first singer's name, second singer's name)
in the videos, every time someone starts singing/rapping, you see their name, IG username, maybe a city+country they chose to represent, perhaps a picture too if they want
❓how to join❓ just text me "i wanna join imperfecto". i'll assign you a number based on what order you joined. if you are the third to join and your name is Otis Redding, your official name in the group will be "3.Otis Redding"
since i started this, i'm "1.stas" (sorry for taking the number one). there is a public list of all members and what they do (singer, rapper, producer, engineer, graphic designer, photographer, dancer, etc)
❓why join❓ to collab on music with no pressure or judgement, get a sense of belonging from that number in front of your name, network, socialize, feel like a k-pop idol in a supergroup (but without getting exploited)

[REQUEST] Looking for rappers who like experimental/weird beats
Hi everybody. I make weird/experimental hip-hop beats — distorted samples, heavy drums, guitars, random textures, etc. It’s kinda like a mix of JPEGMAFIA and Death Grips.
I also do a lot of beat switches and sample basically anything I find interesting.

[REQUEST] Need Rappers For Song on Upcoming LP
We are a female singer/male rap duo finishing up a project, due out this summer. She is in her mid 20's, I am in my mid 40's. Weird combo, but it works haha. Want one song with a few rappers. The beat is posted below. This will be a purchased project put on Spotify, whatnot. Not a paying gig, but it will get you out there!
The song is called "Crescendo". The loose theme is about how music makes you feel, how it's your drug, your woman/man. Your love. Your need. You know, that sorta thing.
This will be the only song on the project with any features, so it would be great to have 3 to 5 guest appearances on the track. I already have one rapper on it. I'll send you what we have if you are interested. I mix and master all vocals, so you just need to record something and send me the raw files. Let me know if you have any questions. Looking for a rapper to collab with.
I’m looking for an emcee to rap over this beat. The track is just over 2 minutes long, with a vocal sample at the start that comes back in twice throughout the track.
I’m looking for straight bars only — no hooks.
The track will be featured on a 5-track multi-artist hip-hop EP, and all artists involved will be fully credited.
