New and want to know how much this really cost? Is it worth it?

I’m trying to see if I can edit or make videos with Higgsfield. I want to try but don’t want to deal with the unknown like the actual cost, is it worth it, is it hard to cancel. Anyone tried it can give me some real details and what to watch out for. Thanks!

I’ve been using Higgsfield extensively for the past two months, focusing primarily on image generation but also dabbling in video. For images, I mainly used Flux 2.0 Pro and Seadream 4.5, and for videos, Kling 3.0 and Seadance 2.0.

I am currently on the $50/month subscription, which gives you 1,200 credits and access to the Unlimited Mode for image generation.

The Good: Quality & Mobility

Coming from a professional CGI/3D background, I have to say the results are nothing short of breathtaking. The photorealism and quality of these models are exceptional.

The biggest wow factor for me is the mobility. Having a professional grade visualization tool on my phone (using Chrome on a Pixel 10) that I can use anytime, anywhere, feels like the future. It’s incredibly powerful to have this much creative control in your pocket.

The Bad: UX Dark Patterns and Workflow Issues

However, after two months of heavy use, I’ve noticed several changes that feel like they are intentionally designed to slow down the user or force accidental credit spending.

The Unlimited Cooldown:

In my first month, I could fire off my 8 concurrent Unlimited generations within 2 seconds. I’d just spam the generate button to get 8 variations of a prompt instantly. Now, there seems to be a hidden cooldown of about 1.5 seconds between clicks. It significantly slows down the workflow when you’re trying to iterate fast.

Resetting Settings (Mobile UX):

On the mobile web version, every single time I start a generation in Unlimited Mode, the Unlimited toggle turns itself off. Additionally, the resolution for Flux and Seadream 4.5 always resets from 2K or 4k back to the lowest resolution. This means for every single generation, I have to:

Re-enable Unlimited Mode.

Manually change the resolution back to 2K or 4k.

Then click generate.

These extra clicks feel like "speed bumps" designed to prevent users from utilizing the unlimited feature too efficiently.

Accidental Credit Spending:

Because the Unlimited toggle keeps resetting, it’s incredibly easy to accidentally spend your paid credits when you intended to use the unlimited mode. It feels almost predatory, as if the UI is hoping you’ll slip up so they can charge you more later.

Mobile Management Issues:

The mobile web version is missing basic management features. You can’t multi-select finished generations to delete them. Also, the favorite (heart) system is buggy some images can be liked, while others simply won't let you, with no apparent reason why.

Conclusion

Higgsfield has some of the best models on the market right now, but the recent UX adjustments are making the experience frustrating. It feels like they are actively nerfing the workflow of power users to save on server costs or trick people into spending credits.

Has anyone else noticed these changes recently? How are you dealing with the mobile workflow?

Claude is probably my favorite AI but I need to keep that Gemini sub active too if I want to generate images. Well not anymore because you can now connect Higgsfield to claude and generate images and video! Not only can I get access to nana bana models in claude, but I also get everything else on Higgsfield like GPT Image 2. Its really easy to setup once you have your accounts to I created this video to show how to make the connection and a quick demo of using Higgsfield to generate an image and video within Claude.

Gemini 3.1 pro with higgsfield CLI

Do not use. I spent 16$ worth of token for dogsh*t that didnt even follow instructions.

I asked it to create 6 scenes using one reference image. One by one and after each to let me review it first. It let me review 1st and 2nd And apparently the last 4 videos it auto generated without giving me for review. I wasnt paying attention and it ran in parrarel so it didnt take that much time.

Once done i checked the vids and they were S. I checked the tokens and 16$ spent...
