pattern transfers in greenhouse

hi all!! what layouts are you using for pattern transfers in the greenhouse? i have looked over the wiki and can’t seem to find a recommended layout. it seems like the line breeding is not an ideal setup for the greenhouse but i can’t quite tell what the alternative is.

Transfer Sunbeam pattern

So... I think I might be dumb 🤣

I'm trying to use Eggworts to get the Sunbeam pattern but it's not transferring. Is it because I need the Eggworts to be same base color as Sunbursts and vice versa?

I started working on this collection back when we got the black and grey flowers. By accident I got an inverse white Eggwort with black speckles in the greenhouse and I recently completed the collection. Seems fitting to share it in the month of meh ☺️

Started understanding flowers better in November, in December got my first bigger collection and have been collecting and loving flowers since 🌷

Most of my work is outside the greenhouse, line method leaving two empty plots so they grow with patterns!

Flowers that don’t color transfer to from certain flowers?

I’m pretty new to flowers and focusing mostly on color transfers and mixing penestum colors. I started trying to get different colors for the thistle but the color only transfers when I’m using patterned bellbuttons or penestums and never when I use dandelilies or hibiscus. I’ve been trying for over a week using the same checker board style planting. Do these flowers just not transfer colors to specific flowers?

I'm buzzing with eggcitement for the month of meh, this is my first time starting an event I already have the flowers to. I know I'm going to try to transfer frost to an ice eggwort, and hot pink in crystal, but what colors should I do for molten and cosmic? I can't wait! THIS IS MY MONTH!
