I'm currently playing ntm:space should I play community edition and what is the community edition?

i am kinda sorry for posting this on here, but this is my best bet in getting help for this.
the culprit is HBM's Nuclear Tech - Leafia's Cursed Addon for HBM's NTM:CE.
the problem/issue is whem zooming the retical/scopes fov Does not change.

I'm searching for a bomb which I saw in a video and I'm sure is part of HBM or a submod.

When it explodes it turns the world into the place beyond the mirror in Silent Hill with Blood rain and rivers plus slight desaturation of colours.

The blast site also causes hallucinations when approached with text asking us to look at something

obviously the original version is most likely the most complete one, right?
But which version is the go-to version for a newer Minecraft version (either 1.12 or 1.20+), if been looking at various remakes but its just confusing.

I think probably the Community version fro 1.12?

I made an attacheble gas mask and wanted to get it on to my helmet but i cant put the helmet/ gas mask into any of the slots

Not just economy (when bombing ranomly is banned) or just war (when nothing other than bombing happens) server, ideally a mix of both, but if I had to choose then war.
