Wild question- but does anyone know the fastest time for a Murph with no vest? I've been doing them a few times a week for a while now (not a fan of consistently running with the vest on), and it's a great way to get an awesome workout in quickly in the mornings. I am by no means claiming to be the fastest out there, but I finally cracked 27 mins, clocking at 26:54.6. Does anyone know if there's any sort of official record? I would love something to compete against as motivation. There's gotta be guys that can go low 20s out there.

EDIT: LOT of push back here. For those wondering: I usually go 6:30 first mile- 13 min calisthenics and then leave it all on the table for the last mile (where ive been struggling.) Im of the mindset that its probably hard to get much faster at the calisthenics because its essentially just non-stop. HOWEVER, im sure there are plenty of people who could beat me by MINUTES because those runs are not fast.

EDIT 2: Lot of poeple saying games atheletes are somehow the barometer for the fastest murphs... These guys are super impressive for being able to run like they do AND lift like they do. But when you look at it, thier run times are minutes away from competitive runners... Also- being able to snatch 300lbs doesnt help much with pullups... I would argue the fastest murphs would be done by strong runners, not strong lifters.

EDIT 3: No longer need motivation from a record, the haters on reddit got me covered. Will be posting a video next week. The game plan is to open up with a 6 min mile, 14 min calisthenic, and hopefully 7 on the last mile. Will be a lil sore from a Monday workout I already promised with a buddy, so gotta make up for it on the miles! STAY TUNED

No reply to World Record Attempt for over a year

Hey guys

I applied for 3 records in March 2025 and still haven't had a reply, it says on their website they reply within a few weeks. No reply to any emails either. Has guiness gone ghost?

Previous record attempts were responded to with no issues.

Anyone else having this issue?

Did they change how to apply for records?

So obviously Guinness changed the way we login to the site, but did they also change the way you can apply for records?

Everytime I try to find a way to apply, it mostly takes me to the “want to break a record?” page (Here if anyone is interested) or when I search for things related to records I have to filter it to bring up only records instead of just everything related to whatever word or phrase I typed in.

I was also wondering this because I was interested in seeing if they have a specific record and if not, seeing if I can do an application to make a new record
