One month until Election Day! Are you ready?

ND Election Day: June 9th

What's on the ballot? It's the state and county primaries, and when city candidates are elected.

Research your candidates: VOTE411.org

Do I need to register to vote? Nope! North Dakota is the only state without voter registration, but you must have a valid North Dakota ID. Most voters use a ND driver's license or a ND non-driver ID card. More about voter ID.

Where to Vote in Cass County:

Early Voting:

  • June 2-5: 11am-7pm
  • June 6: 11am - 5pm

Early Voting Sites: Fargodome, Fairgrounds in the Hartl Ag Building, Fargo Parks Sports Center, and the Ramada. We have vote centers, so eligible Cass County voters can go to any of these sites to cast their ballot.

Election Day Voting on June 9: Polls are open 7am - 7pm. Find the voting sites here.

Vote by Mail Application: Print, sign, and submit the application to the Cass County Finance Office to request a mail-in ballot.

Moved recently? Update the address on your ND driver’s license/non-driver ID online.

Got a haircut at Cost Cutters for the first time. I think it's okay. Thoughts?

Now I just need to trim my beard and hopefully I'll look half decent.

Looking for temporary room

Hi

My daughter is gonna give birth the first half of June and she lives in grand forks, I live in Idaho and was wanting to try to come help her out for 2 or 3 weeks starting out. I was wondering if anyone had a camper, room, or something that I could rent for that time at a reasonable rate in the area? Thank you

Covered picnic areas?

Hi folks! I’m in town this weekend with a group of ~12 and wondering if there are any parks with covered picnic areas? Do I have to reserve the picnic area? Any recommendations/tips would be helpful!!

Also in case of rain would love some suggestions for casual restaurants that would accept a reso of a large group. Thanks so much!

Steer's Restaurant still open?

Just trying to figure out if Steer's went out of business. I see the building sign next to Happy Joe's, but don't see any info online nor see an entrance. Thanks!

River Cities Speedway questions

I've lived in town now for like 15 years, but I've never gone to the races. My 6yr old son is super interested in cars and racing and although it's not my thing, i want to support his interests. I figured this weekend was the season opener, so what better time to take him? I just have a couple questions for anyone who may know.

I found the ticket pricing, so that's not a real big deal. 2 adults, 3 kids. Not to bad at the door.

What are the concessions like? I'm assuming quick bites and regular concession type foods. What are prices like? Are we talking Alerus and The Ralph pricing?

Also, I'm assuming they serve alcohol - correct me if I'm wrong. How about prices on beers?

Thanks in advance!

What is a good, affordable therapy option in Grand Forks?

Just moved recently. I work 2 jobs and make "too much" for insurance, so I don't have that. What are the best therapy options in town that aren't hella expensive?
