GTuber Hall of Fame - Official Reveal Trailer

This is a follow-up to my previous post announcing this show and Gorilla TV, my upcoming Gorilla Tag broadcast channel.

Sorry for the delay, I originally planned to have it posted the same day as the announcement but I got busy with other stuff.

My return😛 (and my thoughts on the game)

What’s up gang, I decided I can’t hold these opinions much longer so I decided to post them even if it is on this god awful app and it’s community. It’s been a while since i’ve been on Reddit because I quickly realized arguing with strangers about random things is a quick way to ruin your life. Before I continue, I won’t be debating any comments but I will read them, and I might continue with Reddit but that’s just a maybe. My topic for tonight (it’s 1AM) is the ranked mode that I only recently learned about, and I tried it, I like the time limit and hiding being bannable, but it has a big problem. I believe the Quest and Steam queues need to be seperate, now not all Steam users are like this, but a LOT of them run the game on 25FPS or lower to be faster and stick to walls (skill issue), and then there’s the people who increase their arm length with the world scale setting to tag from farther distances. It seems like it’s been forever and the developers of the game just seem to not care about it? It’s been a pretty big issue for a while because Quest users don’t have these options and it generally gets annoying when one “pro” Steam user is running the game at 10 FPS for the easiest wall climb of all time and outpacing everyone else who is likely on Quest or not using the strategies mentioned earlier. Not to mention even though you’d think the anti-cheat would get better over time, there’s 4x more modders and cheaters then there were a couple years ago. And no, modding in City / casual is NOT allowed, it literally says nothing in the rules about any exceptions on modding or cheating

hi everyone, I recently made a post about how I want to make a gorilla tag fan game, and I told you how it would look like. So, I have a crazy idea for this fan game. When you enter the game, you'll see a board with the option to choose your region where you'll live. Once you've chosen, you'll be taken to a location in that region, where all the houses, cities, and landmarks will be built. The best part is that if you choose Russia, you'll be able to interact with Russian people. Similarly, if you choose the United States, you'll be able to interact with people from that country.

So, who else has been noticing more videos related to how the game is doomed?

Hey guys, if you haven't been keeping track of Gorilla Tag content over the last few days, you probably noticed a trend in videos saying Gorilla Tag is kinda doomed. It's not just small creators doing this; bigger ones like CubCub11 and NTB710 have posted their own videos on the matter. Other creators include NeonMonke and Dudey421. If it is a trend in the community, I hope it becomes a problem for Another Axiom so they can address it and promise to do better. Just thought I wanted to share in case you were not aware of the current spike in these videos

VIM rant

VIM started out as just having full body tracking, 20 player lobbies, golden name tag and early access to cosmetics. Honestly at first it didn't seem like such a big deal to me because honestly it was just cool features and not weekly exclusive cosmetics. Like yes you'd get VIM cosmetics when you bought VIM but wasn't like a whole floor full of cosmetics that ONLY VIM got.

But now it's like way out of hand. Having a clock in stump, having lava forest, having a whole VIM floor full of cosmetics, even a feature to get rid of steam microphone requires VIM now. I think that is just really stupid. Like yeah I understand that the game is not free to make and money is needed to run the game but VIM is just gone overboard to be honest.

Honestly it might ruin the game or make it die because the general updates are not even that good anymore. They should honestly have kept it as "Early access and cool features like body tracking and shit" instead of making it exclusive access. For example, having flashback sales in VIM like a week or 2 before or having lava forest a week or 2 before everyone else or having a "get rid of steam microphone sound" setting a week or 2 before everyone else.

And like 20 player lobbies? I can live without it. Full body tracking? I don't need it. Hand tracking? I'm okay.

But like, "Oh lava forest is back but only VIM gets it? That's ridiculous! Cleaning steam microphone only for VIM? Why not just add that, ya'll were clearly able to do that the whole time!" That's the kind of things they can shift from "exclusivity" to early access

It's just a whole thing now where it's honestly a hierarchy. If they make it an early access thing and actually start pushing out good updates again then that would likely solve like 80-90% of their problems.

The fan game community sucks

(marked NSFW for some sensitive content)

Finally deciding to post about this.

I was a fan game dev a couple years back and had a whole team working on it with me. I was also pretty heavily active in the lethal ape discord server, and actually (somewhat) friends with Stella (the creator) and most other big people in that server and in other fan games. I even talked to Duttbust (capuchin creator) a bit.

Me and my team (Primal Studios) we're working on our game Bonobo, planned to later become Ape Escape.  It was going very well, until I got into a bit of personal problems at home and it led to all my electronics being stripped away from me, and my parents for whatever reason decided to delete the entire primal studios server without me even knowing, for some fucking reason.

So one day a few months later, my sneaky ass snatches my mom's phone and I find out she's logged in to my account. I open discord to find out I'm BANNED and being sent DEATH THREATS. From the short amount of time I had access to my account again (abt 5 minutes) I had learned that someone faked a screenshot of me saying I had explicit photos of one of my best online friend and main dev of Bonobo, who was also someone pretty well known in the fan game community. The screenshot also included "me" making fun of their mental health state. There were also rumors of me having CP.

There was nothing I could do. My mom found out I had snuck back online and took her phone back and I was stuck with this horrible reputation building up and I had no access to my account and couldn't do anything. People were spreading lies and I had no way to stop it.

Fast forward almost half a year later and I get computer access again (still wasn't allowed to to by my parents but again, I'm sneaky asf) and now I had more time on my hands. I got back in contact with my friend (also the alleged "victim") and they confirmed point blank they have no idea what happened. I talked to Stella (again, the lethal ape creator) and no response. So I got into contact with Fatal (Stella's friend and the second-in-charge of the server) who was a lot more helpful. He did kind of have a "I got better things to do rn" type of energy but it was fine, at least he was helping.

I showed him proof of my Innocence, I got the "victim" to also back me up. We even showed a screenshot of us confronting the person who faked the screenshot and him breaking down and confessing. So Fatal unbanned us, and me and some of my team got back in contact and were about try to clear my name. Only to get banned directly by Stella right after being unbanned, and I get a DM from her saying "banned for hole". Literally no idea what that means. I looked it up online and everything, but no one has ever heard of "banned for hole" ever. No matter how many times I DM'd Stella I get literally no response. She did not care. She wouldn't even respond to Fatal when he would tell her what was going on. keep in mind this is someone I was friends with.

Almost a year later after that and I still have no access to the server and have no fucking idea what's going on, reputation probably still ruined. I am very glad I moved on from the fan game community, I've genuinely gotten so much happier. This is a warning to anyone reading this: DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THE FAN GAME COMMUNITY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE PEOPLE.
