Gobymeds asked for full mirror photos with face/hands visible to verify weight — is this normal?

I recently signed up with Gobymeds for a weight loss program, and during medical review I received a message requesting multiple photos to verify my weight. They asked for:

a full mirror photo including my face,

my hands visible,

the scale digits clearly visible,

and possibly additional close-up photos of the scale.

I understand needing to verify BMI for prescribing purposes, but honestly this felt really invasive and uncomfortable to me. I’ve used telehealth before and never been asked for this level of verification.

Has anyone else experienced this with Gobymeds or other GLP-1 providers? Is this becoming standard now, or is this unusually excessive?

I’m considering canceling because the request felt demeaning rather than medical/professional. .

I used Goby Meds for the first time 3 months ago at 9 mg/ml. My insurance stopped paying and I didn't want to stop immediately (I lost 30 lbs in about 9 months). I choose Goby because they used BPI labs which I was able to evaluate and felt comfortable with. I just renewed my 3 month RX and noticed it is coming from a new pharmacy-Absolute Pharmacy. I can't find information on them. I wrote Goby and they said BPI stopped compounding GLP1s. I'm assuming due to pressure from the FDA. I tried to search this sub for more information. I'm wondering if anyone can point me to info about Absolute Pharmacy and also if they have experienced the loss of meds from BPI? Thank you!
