New to Glock. Not entirely sure which Gen this is. Bought used, had a Trijicon on it sitting on an optics plate and I wasn’t paying too much attention when they took it off but I think I did see two bosses in the back along with the screw holes.
Anybody know what gen this is and any suggestions on direct mounts?

Somebody at range told me there is a known issue with G43x MOS where the right screw for red dot makes contact with the discharge rod…..is this true? They told me to overpay a gunsmith to cut some length off screw or get a dremel and take a couple threads off myself.
OR
SOMEBODY tell me what else could be wrong. I’ve probs put 500-700 rounds through it at this point. Some range sessions it runs perfectly without a single failure other times it has this malfunction once every 3-4 mags and sometimes several times in a row.
Picked up a new 43X today and was surprised it came with two 15 round mags. I usually carry a 48 and had already pre ordered a couple of 15 rounders a few months ago.
I have been running S15s since they first dropped and I really like how they feel. That said I was always a bit hesitant to actually carry them since I have had some occasional range issues, so I stuck with the stock 10 round mags.
I’m trying to see what holsters people recommend. I used to not really like sidecar holsters, but they’re starting to grow on me. I’m mainly looking for something comfortable for daily carry, so I’m not sure which route is better. The Tier 1 or Tenicor?
If anyone has either for sale for the 43X with a TLR-7 Sub, let me know

I just picked up my Glock 43X yesterday and I’m planning to carry it daily (work, driving, etc.).
I’m currently looking for recommendations on:
- a good concealed carry holster
- a solid carry belt
I’d prefer something comfortable for everyday use, possibly a softer or hybrid holster rather than full kydex (at least to start).
What are you guys running for daily carry with the 43X?
Any advice or Amazon options would be appreciated
I was able to pick up 3 of the new OEM 15 round mags today. They fit and function in the gun perfectly, as one would expect. But I was a bit surprised that the dimensions of the mag are different enough that they don't fit in my extra mag carriers I have. One is a no-name that I have no idea where it came from and the other is a Comp-Tac belt clip carrier.
Has anyone seen any options listed for the new mags yet? I realize this is a brand new thing, but figured it was worth an ask.

Carried everywhere, every day - even at home.
Keeping it bone stock for now, no budget for upgrades yet.
For now, I’ve invested more in ammo and range time.
Just picked up this grit grip 43x frame and swapped the slide over. So far I really like it! Natural point of aim on dry fire. Need to take it to the range still.
Locking block on the left is OEM and locking block to the right is from GlockStore. I Ordered a complete lower parts kit for a build using the slimline Grit Grips 43X. The GS block is was out of spec and not a true 43X fit. Didn’t even fit in my original Glock frame.. Disappointed that I’m stuck with a paper weight but we live and we learn. Emailed customer service on Monday and still no reply.
Finish my 43X project. Added the Radian Ramjet Afterburner, the JG Evolution Combat Vex Series Drop in Trigger, 4.5 Spring in it and today got the beavertail !!! We are done

Preferably a holster that works in shorts and jeans. Not an overweight fella. 12/1 oclock carry is preferred
Considering swapping out my Silencer Co threaded barrel for the Radian Afterburner+Ramjet. Talk me into it.

Tough question , I tried the G48 today and really enjoyed it . I'm told it's the same as the 43x but would like to gleen some insight from anyone whose familiar with both. Does the 48's xtra length really make any difference in the real world ?
