I love helldivers 2
There is a negativity going on around the community but I have infinite faith on this game and I am actually really happy with the recent changes, especially the exosuit change, durable damage buff barely makes any difference anyway. Whos that complain constantly can go and play another game. I got around 2800 hours in this game now, planning to hit 5000 hours mark before end of the year! wish me luck!
THE BULLETSTORM COMES IN 2!
and with only a min cool down it infinite bullets Edit should add it has around 48,000 round total per match if I did my math right (with ship upgrades)

Today is a GREEN day!
It's me, AMA
Hey everyone, feels like there's so much hate, misinformation and disappointment here. I understand you want Helldivers to be great and you feel we fall short.
So my thinking is, let me hear your thoughts, questions and concerns. I may not be able to answer all questions. But I'll try my best.
This will be slow burn as I've got a busy day - but I'll get to your questions in time.
Heres some rules to help coordinate this:
- I will answer only top rated comments (common ask)
- I will not be able to comment on specific people at Arrowhead
- I won't be able to answer things that puts us in breach of agreement with PS (and even doing this is borderline)
- I will not engage with personal attacks.
So, with that said. Fire away!
>Hey everyone, > >I want to thank you all for taking the time to ask questions, challenge me and share your frustration… Honestly! > >I did this AMA because I saw the disappointment, critism and mistrust in this subreddit. And it got to me, I wanted to get a better sense and understanding of what was at the heart of it. A lot of the points that you make are fair. Some are very painful to read. But I know that it comes from a group of players that care deeply about Helldivers and wants it to remain special. > >So, my take aways from this is as follows: > >You want the game to deepen - Old systems, gear, progression, resources, and the Galactic War need more attention. You want more meaningful reasons to keep playing beyond the next warbond. You want underused equipment to have a purpose, long-term progression to feel worthwhile, and community actions to result in memorable moments again. > >Furthermore, the concerns that warbonds can feel like they are moving faster than fixes, polish and systemic improvements. Which is not the intent, but perception matters. Trust is not rebuilt by me saying that “yeah, sometime in the future” - it is by action alone, over time, that clearly says that we are listening and acting in good faith. > >Action -> This week; I will talk to the direction team about how we can align more with the expectations that you have on the development of Helldivers. > >You want us to communicate better - That means accurate patch notes, transparency around priorities, more accurate known issues and less reliance on me, or someone from Arrowhead randomly jumping in to figure things out (like this!). When our communication fails, you guys fill in the blanks. And right now, many of those blanks are being filled with mistrust - and that’s on us. > >Action -> I will report back once every other week, starting this week, with where we are, what our thoughts are and how we >are moving forward. > >I can’t promise every specific request in this thread. I can’t promise instant solutions. Helldivers 2 is a large, complicated game, and some of these issues are genuinely difficult. But that’s not an excuse for standing still. There is a lot of work that is in progress that we will see the fruits of in the coming weeks, months and year. > >This conversation has helped me understand your frustration a whole lot better. This is not only a demand for more - it is a demand for meaningful changes, higher standards, better maintained systems and clearer communication, and in the end, a game that continues to feel worthy of the passion you, the community, has given it. > >Thank you to everyone who participated constructively, especially when you were angry. That means you still care. > >Johan >
Anyone tried the warbond light armor ?
Man this + jump pack is genuinely insane, that speed is top level, combine stamina enhancement/experimental infusion and you can outrun anything even chargers 😂

To the audience
I would like to thank everyone here for watching/commenting on my videos. I started playing HD2 in January of this year and I wanted to post some gaming footage but the mean streets of reddit was a "scary" place for a first time poster. I found myself often hesitant before this groupe came along. I also want to take the time to say that I will be starting work again so my video frequency will most likely drop to one a week we can call it Grapefruits clip of the week or something. Keep diving, keep sharing the joy of gaming alive, and keep spreading the democracy. Yeah thats a cartoon rendition of me boots, beard and all. See you all out on the battlefield.

my opinion the mechs video links
Been seeing a lot of mixed opinions about mechs after the new update, so I ran my own tests across all three factions: bots, squids, and bugs.
Did four runs per faction to keep things somewhat consistent. Here’s what I found.
First, yeah, mechs did get buffed. Survivability is noticeably higher. But that’s only half the story, because enemy changes affect how that buff actually plays out.
Bots:
This is where the mech buff feels the most consistent. You survive more, especially against heavier fire, and damage feels predictable. If you die, it usually makes sense. Positioning and awareness matter more than random spikes. Overall, mechs feel stronger here.
Squids:
Also pretty solid. Mechs perform well against larger targets like the Leviathan. Since squid enemies lean more toward big, readable threats and less damage stacking, the mech gets to actually do its job. Feels strong in the right situations.
Bugs:
This is where controversy is. Mechs feel inconsistent. Sometimes you tank hits just fine, other times you drop way faster than expected. I saw what looked like a spewer mortar one-shot with friends, but couldn’t reliably reproduce it.
my theory isn’t a true one-shot, but multiple damage sources overlapping at once, acid, melee, projectiles, hitting in the same moment. Bugs apply pressure from multiple angles, so the mech’s higher health doesn’t always translate into survivability you can feel.
It’s not that mechs are useless against bugs. They’re just less reliable. In coordinated play or with spacing and support, they can still perform well. But in chaotic situations, which bug missions often are, they feel inconsistent compared to bots or squids.
- Mech buff is real
- Feels most consistent vs bots
- Strong vs squids, especially big targets
- Less reliable vs bugs due to overlapping damage, not necessarily weaker overall
So the issue isn’t that the buff didn’t work, it’s that bugs interact with the mech in a way that makes the buff harder to notice. and thus a gaslighting effect.
