I got the game on release and hated how unpolished it was. My gun would get stuck on the wall and stay in another room, or I'd struggle to pick something up off the floor, or I'd loose my bag thinking i put it back on. Bots were snipers and gunplay was crap. I could go on...
Has any of that changed? Is it worth trying again or will I find it the same?
Did a quick search and didn’t find what I was looking for. When I put a rifle on my chest rig it almost always falls off eventually kind of like my hands catch it for a split second but I’m not actually grabbing it. Is this a known issue or something, or am I doing something wrong? Playing on PSVR2
I know I’ll be laughing about it late wipe when I have high tier weapons, but the M4 has been good to me early this wipe.
Just wanted to hear what yall have to say! I’m having fun as I love this part of the game where it actually feels like it’s impactful to lose your kit or to find good shit. Some things I have noticed though in my experience so far:
The new PP smg doesn’t come with a mag when found in raid.
Bosses still spawn and quite frequently.
There’s a few issues with lagging out of the raid on Island, but I believe it’s been addressed and they’re working on it.
The chunky Galil (Galil Ace) seems to have virtually no recoil. Whether this is intentional or not, I don’t know. Maybe because of its slow fire rate? Either way it’s pretty unremarkable.
HK416, AKM, and the Holo Sight have been moved to Spec 3. Mag purchase limit is increased with the cooldown being shorter as well. Ruger Drum and VSS Drum are found in raid with static spawns but pretty common.
People are already geared as absolute piss.
Foxtrot rigs have been changed to the same PG as a Vest B, and some bots on Mall now rock JPC rigs.
The loot pool is basically identical as it was before wipe, roughly the same rarity. Meaning it’s pretty easy to find good stuff and progress in the game.
Traders are still pretty easy to grind, I was able to get spec 3 in a few hours yesterday.
Seems like this wipe was more about them setting the stage for new content to be added next wipe with some new additions coming later this wipe. But still having fun!
I heard PSVR have the option to turn off crossplay. Is it possible with pc users too?
Seriously, HOW the hell are y'all getting bosses without getting slimed out by at least 2 or 3 other people? I can't even get Krtek without getting jumped by 4 people 😭
