My guy you don’t have to be here
All this guy does in this subreddit is comment on posts talking about how Gamesir apparently sucks. Idk why he is putting this much time into hating on a controller company. Anyone know why he got so much beef?

So hyped to finally get this controller. Preordered it around the end of March and it arrived after about a week of shipping from China.
Really amazing looking controller all around. Imo it looks even better in person than it does in all the promotional images. I plan to make this my main controller for both PC and Switch 2 for the foreseeable future.
So my wife ordered me a Nova Lite 2 on March 13th as my birthday gift which was last month. After being repeatedly told that the delay was normal and that it will arrive soon, Gamesir went ahead and cancelled my order out of the blue today.
i was looking forward to replacing my f710 with the Nova Lite 2 and now I'm just sad that I waited almost 2 months for this to happen.
i would have preferred to wait a few more weeks or for Gamesir to try the delivery again but it looks like they stopped shipping to my country altogether.
Finding real-world faceplate comparisons was a nightmare when I was shopping, so I had to create a small set of examples myself.
After blindly buying a few, I figured I'd save you some guesswork. All photos are mix-and-match combos using the following:
Hope this helps someone avoid the same rabbit hole I fell into!
yesterday I finally received this gamepad in the mail, and I was quite pleased with it. It looks very expensive and of high quality. The filling of the box inside was also very surprising, there was a very high-quality wire. Replaceable crosspieces and a player's card in a glass case. The handles of the gamepad are made of rubber and lie securely in your hands.well, there is a huge disadvantage and I do not know if it is a marriage or just how everything works. The crosspiece buttons up and down left and right work very unreliably. And the button to the left seems to be pushed in. That is, when I press these buttons, I don't feel what I pressed, although they work quite well and this is not a critical problem. Would you like to know if other players have the same problems or not? And has this situation been fixed in the Zzz gamepad?
Wanted to share some latency data on the G7 Pro after the latest firmware update (2.3.9), because the Bluetooth results genuinely surprised me.
TL;DR: Bluetooth on FW 2.3.9 beats the dongle in average latency despite running at only 400 Hz vs the dongle's 1000 Hz. There are outlier spikes to be aware of, but they may be receiver-dependent.
The numbers (from Prometheus 82 testing, Win 11 Build 10.0.26200):
| # | Connection | Mode | Button Avg | Stick Avg | Polling |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | Cable | XInput | 2.43 ms | 2.70 ms | 1001 Hz |
| 4 | Dongle | XInput | 5.69 ms | 15.0 ms | 1000 Hz |
| 5 | Bluetooth | DInput | 5.37 ms | 5.82 ms | 400 Hz |
| 6 | Bluetooth (FW 2.3.1) | DInput | 12.1 ms | 12.5 ms | 400 Hz |
Note: the improvement coincides with the FW 2.3.9 update, though it's possible Windows updates or driver changes on my test machine contributed as well — worth keeping in mind when interpreting the delta.
The jump from FW 2.3.1 → 2.3.9 on Bluetooth is massive — button latency went from 12.1 ms down to 5.37 ms, and stick latency from 12.5 ms to 5.82 ms. That's more than a 2× improvement.
The interesting part — Bluetooth beats the dongle:
Test #4 (dongle, XInput, 1000 Hz) shows 5.69 ms button / 15.0 ms stick average. The stick latency there is genuinely rough.
Meanwhile Bluetooth on 2.3.9 sits at 5.37 ms button / 5.82 ms stick — at 400 Hz. By average latency, Bluetooth is simply the better wireless option right now.
The catch — latency spikes:
The distribution charts show BT button latency spiking up to 26 ms (jitter: 3.34 ms) with a noticeable long tail in the probability curve. Worth keeping in mind.
That said — all my testing is done on a single dedicated test laptop with whatever Bluetooth adapter is built in, no cherry-picked hardware. A better BT adapter in a cleaner RF environment could theoretically yield tighter results with fewer or no outliers at all.
If you want to check your own setup before committing, grab Polling by Gamepadla. It doesn't measure latency directly, but it will show you how stable your gamepad's polling is over Bluetooth — which is a good proxy for whether your adapter is causing consistency issues.
Verdict:
Bluetooth on FW 2.3.9 is the better wireless option for the G7 Pro right now, at least by average latency. Give it a shot — and run Polling first to see if your BT adapter behaves before writing it off.

Just purchased it this month after not even 2 weeks the button A is showing red flicker whenever i connect it to my pc like other issue r okay but this button is unresponsive, need help
Hi everyone, and hopefully, hi to the GameSir Team!
I’m writing this because I believe I speak for a huge part of the controller enthusiast community. In 2024, GameSir released the Tarantula Pro, and for many of us, it remains a masterpiece of engineering. The buttons, the TMR/Hall Effect tech, and the ergonomics are still unrivaled, even by newer releases.
However, as we transition to the Switch 2, there’s a small but vital feature missing that’s breaking the experience for us: The Wake-Up function.
We know the Tarantula Pro is a 2024 product, but it’s far from 'old'. It was built to last. We chose GameSir because your brand is synonymous with innovation and, more importantly, customer loyalty. You guys are known for actually listening to the community—something your competitors often fail to do.
Adding Switch 2 Wake-Up support via a firmware update wouldn't just be a technical fix; it would be a statement. It would show that when we buy a 'Pro' controller from GameSir, we are buying a product that the company stands behind for years, not just months.
There is a massive base of users who still main the Tarantula Pro and want to keep using it as their primary controller for the next generation. Please, GameSir, don't let this legendary hardware fall behind. Show the world why you have the most loyal fanbase in the market.
Who else is with me on this? Let’s show GameSir how many Tarantula Pro owners are ready for this update!
I was just wondering if the face buttons are interchangeable if you disassemble the controller. I'm more used to the Nintendo layout than the Xbox one. Not a deal breaker for my plans just curios if possible.
I wonder if anyone else is having this issue. The main ring hole for the right analog was cut too small. The top of the dome on the right stick rubs and squeaks along the ring. I cant use the controller because for fps games. The rubbing causes the analog to stick while trying to aim and having to push a bit harder to force it through destroys my aim. Im so disappointed after the long wait :( you can see the ring sizes in the first pic from left and right stick.
With the arrival of the nba 2k online controller (china exclusive) I now have all (up to now) variants of the g7 pro released to the public (I believe)
Pictured is the photo of them all together and then the aimlabs controller without and with the nba 2k online dpad ( the camera shows there’s a slight difference in gradient but it’s actually more noticeable in person. It’s the difference between gunmetal vs actual black in person)

This dude helped me a lot because none of the Gamesir people were responding i texted him he texted me back very fast i need a new controller because of my warranty he did it very fast and the package came in less than a week live love laugh MELON very good support from him 5 star
This dude the goat i was on the phone with amazon and emailing gamesir and I was about to refund my g7 pro and go through that whole process when I sent a Hail Mary text into the discord general and he responded with a fix in like 30 seconds, s/o to him he the goat
I was surprised by how quick and helpful GameSir’s staff were with helping me get my controller replaced
Basically, my old Cyclone 2 which I’d had for about 9 months just randomly stopped recognizing left stick clicks. I wanted to see if there was a solution but unfortunately I wasn't able to get it working. However, I was told to reach out to a staff member named Melon to see if I could get a replacement. They were very nice and super helpful throughout the process
My experience with GameSir has been very good ever since I found out about them. I'm thankful they are one of the few companies that actually care about their customers.
I ought to share my thoughts in a YouTube video after a good amount of time using this (bought this last week), but my initial review is that it feels absolutely worth every cheapskated cent I saved up. The features I normally assumed would be on more expensive controllers (hall effect and adjustable triggers, back buttons that actually work and hall effect sticks) are in this roughly 20 dollar (1095 Philippine Pesos) budget gaming masterpiece.
This'll go well with my GameSir X5 Lite I bought off Facebook Marketplace for half its retail price
I recently acquired my controller and am wondering if it better to play wired or wireless.
Aimlabs pro 8k arrived. Wow blown away. Coming off the cyclone 2 which was fire, as an iPad secondary device gamer, this whole deal was impressive.
iOS app actually works, setup super easy. Controller is leagues above the cyclone 2 which is hard to believe. I thought it’d be a marginal upgrade at a decent price. But the whole setup, hardware and latency is unmatched.
Colour me impressed gamesir. Wish this shit worked on my ps5.
Finally got the controller (it came with the black thumbsticks, have made a support post in discord for it per Gamesir Allan’s response on a post here earlier)
Only 1 more g7 pro to go the nba 2k online and that is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.
