Would you Spend $300 to Upgrade from S25U to The New One?

I could probably sell my Barely used S25U and pay about extra 250euros / $300 and buy the New one.

I don't really care about the Privacy display one bit ( Infact I'm worried about the supposedly lower screen quality due to it).

They say that 9 One UI will have a new AI feature called Home, Bixby Vision, and a decor activity.

Is this picture really for 9 one ui?

Does anyone have the Apk file for it?

"innmaten" fra ladeporten stikker ut

Jeg har akkurat vært ute og gått tur. Filmet og tatt bilder med telefonen. Ikke mistet den i bakken. Vel inne så sjekket jeg batteriet og så at jeg burde lade telefonen. Galaxy S25 Ultra Pro. Da så jeg at ladeporten stikker ut fra telefonen. Hva har skjedd? Er det noe jeg kan rette opp i selv?

Need advice from long term power users

I'm currently using an iPhone 16 Pro (non max) which I got two months ago. Been an iPhone user for about 2-3 years and I'm also very much locked inside the walled garden. I use it with my iPad and MacBook more than most people would. Copy on one device paste on other; AirPlay to MacBook for monitoring when I'm shooting videos; iCloud+ and everything that syncs etc etc.

Even ignoring the ecosystem stuff, I find the iPhone very very reliable with almost no hiccups or unusual bugs (sure there are a few but nothing affecting normal functionality). Small things such as receiving weird video file formats and still working, to Instagram allegedly always posting consistently better quality media on the iPhone, these things matter to me a lot.

But lately, I've been really tempted to switch to the S25 Ultra because of how great it looks, multitasking, the extra functions that iPhone doesn't offer, and just for a breath of fresh air since the iPhone is now boringly familiar to me.

Switching would mean I'd be replacing a lot of my daily use apps that are Apple exclusive (including browser across all my devices since I currently use Safari, as well as the Apple password manager), giving up on family shared iCloud, using workarounds to somewhat get similar handoff functionality with my other Apple devices, even replacing my Apple Watch with a Galaxy Watch and whatever comes my way to transfer health data across the platform......and the list of the hassle to transition goes on and on...sigh.

Yet I'm ready to commit it to it and pull the trigger, hoping it'll be a one time bad hassle.

Now the only thing that's keeping me concerned is that I’ve seen wayy too many Reddit posts, comments, even YouTube videos about how the camera randomly starts ticking sounds in the hardware and vibrations, shaking, glitches..list goes on. There are talks about how apps like camera stop working after updates, system slows down, and battery life worsens over time.

Camera, performance, and reliability are a major factor for me since I am a power user. An example of which is I do a lot of RAW photography, and edit them with a lot of masks in Lightroom on the same device.

I want to know from long term power users who actually push their phone to the limits, in creative and productive work, about how the S25 Ultra performs and has stood up since when it was released. And of course One UI as well and how reliable it is.

Sorry for the insanely long paragraph. I just need some advice and tips on this decision.

Thank you for reading :)

ram plus

I have a question: I read different opinions online about RAM Plus and I have no idea whether I should keep it turned on or not. It is enabled by default on a new installation, but I still see people online saying I should turn it off, while others say I shouldn’t.

My question is: should I turn it off on the S25 Ultra or leave it on?

Galaxy S25 Ultra camera clicking noise + focus issues (1x lens)

Hey, I’ve got a weird issue with my S25 Ultra main (1x) camera.

When it tries to focus, I hear a rapid clicking/ticking sound coming from the camera module. It lasts a few seconds, and during that time the camera struggles to lock focus (kind of “hunts” back and forth). Sometimes it eventually focuses, sometimes it takes longer than it should.

I’m trying to figure out if this is a known issue (AF/OIS?) or a hardware defect.

Has anyone else experienced this? Did it get worse over time, and did you end up needing a camera module replacement?

Any input appreciated.

Might have made some bad decisions regarding buying case and screen+lens protector, please tell me if it was bad.

Some stupid moves from me, and i probably deserved it. Ive ordered a uag monarch pro for my phone and i was able to collect my phone in 2 days since currys is pretty fast, but i live in the uk and the shipment probably wont arrive anytime soon. I've also got a uag screen protector (stupid move 1)with it, is it good? Second stupid move: i didnt get my lens protector yet and i have no idea if spigen's lens protector will fit with the case.

Now either my s25u goes naked or ill use my old phone until the case and stuff arrives...

Allowing installation of font styles from third-party .ttf files

Samsung has unfortunately removed the font customization option after its latest updates. We were buying Samsung phones primarily because of the greater customization options (like Good Lock). Please support this initiative so our voices are heard. Previously, this could be easily done with apps like ZFont, but it's no longer possible.
