NGD - GOC Shan in Laguna Seca blue

I was shopping for a headless 7 string, after selling my PRS SE SVN Mark Holcomb (neck was too chunky for me).

I wanted a Strandberg, after regretting selling my Boden OS7 a couple years back. However the price tag and the fact that they’re all made in Indonesia kinda put me off.

GOC seemed attractive with the ergonomic neck shape and price point.
They just happened to have a batch of release of guitars ready to sell and jumped on it.
It arrived within 4 days (China to Singapore), was really surprised how quick it was.

I can say that the neck is better or at least very close to the Endurneck. For me the key point was the neck is much thinner, on par with 90’s Ibanez (I have a PGM from 1994 for reference).

Pickups are fine, but may change them in the future for something with more clarity, perhaps slightly less hot.
Hardware is good, very smooth to turn.

Guitar arrived almost setup, might need some tweaking but nothing egregious.

Would recommend GOC for a decent alternative to Strandberg endurneck. If you prefer a traditional shape, plenty of other options but afaik, only GOC and Strandberg offer ergonomic necks.

swapping stock 8 string quad rails with fishman fluences: is it worth it? (for thall)

im a thall enthusiast and recently got interested in the headless market, im looking into buying a GOC vajra+ 8 string and im interested in how the stock ruyi quad rail pups are doing in very low tunings. they will obviously be abysmally muddy without the installment of a coil split, so im mainly asking about the case where i already installed coil split. will it have an unmixable and unfixable mud?

in general, do you guys think its worth it to swap to fishman fluences as a DSP user? i mean wont i be able to manipulate the sound to a point where it will have solid clarity even with quad rails?

please share your thoughts, im an amateur in extended range metal so any advice will be appreciated!

Does GOC take custom orders? Looking to get a single-pickup, single-knob headless

There are not off-the-shelf single-pickup single-know headless guitars as far as I can tell. GOC comes close with single knob and from what I read online they're quality control + fret job are also great.

However I can't find any email address or customer service chat on their web site to ask. Since guitars seem to be made to order (with 60 business days build time) I'm wondering if they do this kind of customization. Does anyone know?
