Upgraded from Aerox 3 wireless and holy shit it's like heaven and hell
i did get kinda lazy halfway modding this because of my studies, but planning to custom cut griptape from large sheets, change the wheel, battery, and make it look slightly more presentable in the future. for now this is fine for a mouse i don't use.
still have many parts of the mouse not swiss cheesed so i could probably bring this down under 80 grams if really needed
My cousin convinced me to post this because he thinks my mouse is insane… I’ve had my Proteus Spectrum for 10+ years now and it works perfectly. Outlasted 3 PC builds and 3 keyboards. Worn down to the plastic on the right side by my pinky and all the grip on the left side is smooth. It’s been through about 2.5k+ hours of league, 4 years of engineering school, and 1.5k hours of R6. He thinks I should replace it with my new setup coming in, but I think this workhorse has at least 3 more years left in it. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
It's 2014 summer time and FAFSA money just hit the direct deposit. You automatically go to BestBuy to see what's up in the gaming section. You see this bad boy with the weights displayed on the packaging. You pick it up and 12 years later it's still ain't quitting. No real issues after all these years.
It's time to retire it though, what's your next upgrade?
Hey guys,
I have always loved the g502 hero and just bought my second after 3 years bc my dog ate the cable lol. But I’ve noticed a slight decline in quality?? The mousewheel specifically. I also would love something a bit lighter and preferably wireless? Any recommendations?
I love the shape of it as I use a weird ass grip and am so used to the side buttons but don’t get much use out of the top ones.
Had my G402 for years, awesome mouse (been a fan of the shape since mx510, and have 4 mice of this shape all still working). But seeing the hype around G502 wanna add it to the collection and see what’s the fuss all about.
There are many different versions of the mouse - which one should I get in 2026 (and why?)
Wired/non wired isn’t really a big deal for me.
I still love my g502x and will continue to use it for mmorpgs and other games that are not fps but the new superstrike is an amazing device especially if you are a fan of Logitech! definitely quality in my eyes though I get a lot of hate for saying I love this brand, not sure why? The software works perfectly for me, never had anything break or where down since I started gaming on PC 3 years ago! The skates on the superstrike are the only thing I'm not a fan of and they are easily replaceable. If you use any other mice other then the g502 what are they and do you switch or just use the one?
So I've been using the G502 for quite a while now and I just discovered that the scrolling wheel is a bit misaligned to the left (?) I might be dumb but I never noticed it before. I had the exact model for like 2 years, broke it and bought the same one. I didn't even hit this one or anything and I see that the scrolling wheel is a bit to the left. Am I stupid?
What are these tiny dots on the mouse wheel I’ve done everything from bleach to scraping to get them off and I can’t
Highly recommend grips for the G502. Just wish I bought them a year ago before the rubber started wearing
Modded my first mouse and it's my old g502 Proteus spectrum it's not much left of it. I had to modify 2 3d models with tinkercad and use a Dremel tool to make everything fit
bought one arriving tomorrow i have a glass pad im planning on using tigers v2 speed skates do i have to return it or nah since ive heard reports of people saying the old g502 couldn’t track on glass
I replaced the G502 lightspeed with the G502 X and while it was a lot lighter it felt much cheaper too, especially the scroll wheel which felt bad and eventually broke so I got a refund on it and now I'm trying to work out what to get.
Do the G502 X lightspeed or G502 X plus have higher general quality? I don't care about wireless or RGB but if it has a better feel and scroll wheel it would be worth it to me.
First of all, those are not my pictures; they are from the guy selling the mouse. What are the chances this is fake?
I did check on emag, (eMAG is Romania's Amazon) https://www.emag.ro/mouse-gaming-logitech-lightspeed-g502-x-plus-wireless-rgb-negru-910-006162/pd/DZK42LMBM/#product-gallery
And the box seems to look the same to me
