Cherry Blossom Season in NJ
Steeped out to Branch Brook Park today to make sure I got some images with my GF110mm F2 lens on my GFX 100 IIs . I love this lens.
Abandoned Fire Engine
I couldn’t resist taking a photo of my nephew’s old toy; the way the Fuji renders colours, especially the shades of red, never ceases to amaze me.
GFX 50r | gf 63mm
The file is almost [SOOC] - in LR after resizing gently S-curve.
Third party lenses with autofocus
Does anyone know any good third party lenses that use autofocus? I have a 35-70 mm at the moment, but I was looking at the Mitakon lenses, but want something around 80-110 mm. In an ideal world I’d get something with autofocus but the Fujifilm lenses are a bit out of my price range at the moment. I’ve been looking online for used lenses but not sure what uses autofocus. If there isn’t much outside of Fujifilm I’ll probably get one of the mitakons and learn to live with the manual focus.
GFX pro user, I still think about a D850 sometimes. Should I go for it?
As per the title, I've been a pro photographer for 5+ years and my main work setup is a GFX 100Sii and a 50Sii, plus an X-H2s and X-H2 for events etc.
And yet, every couple of weeks I start rabbit holing into a Nikon D850, since you can still buy them new for a couple grand.
For someone who has shot on both systems, is my desire rational? or just some vintage nonsense? would I get any benefit from it if I eventually caved in, if only in terms of a pleasurable experience?
