Stings
On the Event Horizon ep, Jordan said that there'd be a link in the comments to all the stings. Where's that?
In 'Mortal Kombat II,' fatality meets fan service : Pop Culture Happy Hour - with me, Jordan!
npr.orgTalk to Host!
I know you guys made fun of it, but I actually really liked Talk to Host! Id love to see one of Matt and his most memorable stand up show, and Jordan maybe tellling us the process of getting into comic book writing!
Come find me @ Comic Con Oakland! 5/9 - 5/10!
I'll be selling/signing books at F10 and speaking on a panel about idea-pitching on 5/9 @ 3:30pm Room A!
Got my Bubble signed for a third time.
If you're in Oakland this weekend, go pick up some stuff and say hi to him!
Very chummy fellow. Also indulged my stupid joke and signed my copy of Bubble for the third time. My goal is to see how many times I can get it signed at shows or events. So far so good!
X-Files spin-off???
If the Free With Ads crew did a spin-off show rewatching all of The X-Files, I would 1000% listen! The boco ep on the pilot is great and this would just be super fun to listen to. Regardless, thanks for being awesome, FWA folks!
Tomorrow is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! I'll be at Collector's Paradise in Pasadena signing books including a FREE Apes/Alien/Predator book with a story from me and artist Roland Boschi! It ties in to our ongoing mini-series PREDATOR: BLOODSHED. You can grab issues 1-3 at the same local shop where you get your free books! And, since folks have asked, no, the Apes/Alien/Predator do not fight in the book. I know, that would be cool :)
Who are closest to in term of movies they like?
Seemingly I vibe with Jordan more. I can’t believe Emily and Matt gave Yesterday 2 points.
But Jordan and I tend to share the same views on movies.
Sometimes the sequel is better than the original
Is this an Ouija/Ouija 2 situation? I didn’t know this existed until just now.
The Sting
Popped up on YouTube FWA today. Great movie. You should watch it at least once in your life. You should also go around humming the theme song for a week.
Despite its name, it is not about a great producer making wondering sound effects for his podcast, but about two con men setting up a big score.
I was a little behind on episodes and binged a few but I believe this came up on Rock n Roll highschool. Emily mentioned her dad saying session musicians using a number system. I think he was likely referring to the Nashville Numbering system.
