In line with motto to advance knowledge of vedic Jyotish further in sync with modern times, I am requesting the details. This is purely statistical and helps me fine tune giving better advise to anyone who seeks.

Main reason for the call is twofold, one vedic jyotish scriptures were written in syn with age and times and many rules need appropriate interpretation; second, there are multitude of rules which govern difficulty in relationships and cause the break.

Lastly, there is no privacy issue involved, one only needs to post D1 chart, D9 chart and Planet - nakshatra table, dasha table only.

Firstly,

What is Pitra Dosha [As per lal kitab]

Pitra dosha is basically that some ancestor of yours did some bad/evil-doing knowingly or unknowingly and didn't resolve it carrying the karma forward generationally.... There are multiple types and formations of pitra dosha..... we are gonna discuss one such case which involves mercury.

A few results/things related to pitra dosha[according to lal kitab]

Firstly if a lot of people in the fam have a pitra dosha, its usually something that is affecting the entire fam, and the same type of ashubh/ominous/bad thing keeps happening generationally in the family... [not always there are exceptions to it ofc]

A lot of people think that some ancestors wandering soul is causing all this [pitra dosh] and some even do all the sort of poojas/rituals for the soul to rest in peace, so that the family could also get some peace from all the mishaps... Lal kitab is not of this notion when it comes to pitra dosha.

Pitra dosha, as per lal kitab, is when that some ancestor did some not so right karm/actions, resulting to the fruit of those actions also being inherited to the people. Sometimes only one person has a pitra dosha in a family.... it means that the person is born to liberate the lineage from the dosha.

Now a lot of people will be like, my ancestor did that bad stuff why should I and my fam suffer.... cos' you are inheriting wealth, morals, traditions, ofc blood/DNA/genes/genetic diseases too in some cases and a bunch of things from them why then do you think you won't inherit their karma .... 🙃

Mercury and Pitra Dosha

Well firstly 9th house is your ancestors and traditional values etc. all that links to your past, hence it also forms your fortunes [bhagya]

If a planet sits in the 9th house and mercury sits in the sign of that planet that forms a pitra dosha.
or in simpler terms if the dispositor of mercury sits in the 9th house, it leads to pitra dosh.

Example : Sun in 9th house, mercury in leo ; mars in 9th, mercury in aries etc. etc. It is applicable for all planets.

To rectify it the karma needs to be identified and resolved using both the significations of planet seated in 9th and that of mercury, the house nakshatras etc. involved.... Please don't comment asking about this as its a whole elaborative technique consumes time and energy definitely not something to be told over comments.

Some significations that show that this sort of dosh is active in the chart are a lot of hairfall, a habit of wearing a mala sort of thing in the neck, sleep issues, breaks in education without any coherent reason.

This is not something to be afraid of as its just basic pending karma, and in most cases we know what our ancestors did and how it can be unturned.

A few more indicators [not so potent] are mercury/rahu/venus in 2nd, 5th, 9th, 10th house [in bhav chalit] ; mercury in jupiterian signs.
