As a city slicker transplant Fortnite addict… I am BEGGING fort to do a country music pass. I know it wouldn’t make money and all the business things associated… but all us Honky Tonk players would be HOOTIN and HOLLERIN in festival pro vocals lmao.

Since Ghost is already in Fortnite, it feels like a full collab is just waiting to happen.
Ideas:
• Add “Peacefield” and “Satanized” to Festival
• Papa Emeritus skins (different versions as styles)
• Nameless Ghoul skins with customizable masks/instruments
Fortnite Festival already leans into music culture, and Ghost’s aesthetic would fit insanely well.

My friend said last night ”if this would’ve launched in the 2010s they could’ve done so many older names” and that got me thinking. If Festival released in 2018, who do you think the first 6 headliners would’ve been?
My guesses:
Season 1: Marshmello. Feel like he would be more of an obvious pick for Epic at that point, especially back then his career was on top of the world
Season 2: Justin Bieber. Had hit after hit, probably would’ve grabbed him just to appease the huge fan base he had then.
Season 3: Drake. For how big he still is, that man’s career was booming back then even more. They probably would’ve grabbed him over the Ninja stream alone
Season 4: Black Eyed Peas. These guys were making hit after hit in the 2010s, even with the girl not being apart of the group anymore, still feel like they would’ve grabbed the rights
Season 5: Pharrell Williams. Especially after his despicable Me songs, feel like Epic would’ve been very interested in him as a whole
Season 6: Juice Wrld. Loved the game and actively played it, on top of being very current back then and alive. Feel like Juice himself would’ve pushed for a season back then

I think they should make it an option to change the pitch and tones of the songs and instruments in vocals! im an alto and cant rlly sing along to half the songs we have if we could change the pitch and lower it we could have it be more comfy for all singing types! Thats just my idea and feelings on that cause if I try to pitch myself I rlly end up hurting my voice 😅
so I was gonna do a “potential Fortnite festival collabs tier list” but unlike BR collabs I genuinely couldn’t find any tier list templates for potential Festival Headliners so I’m doing it this way.
I’m gonna try to think of how they would be implemented and how much I would personally enjoy the season, but I wanna keep this just a civil discussion. At the end of the day it’s just music taste and isn’t that deep; I just wanna yap about festival and spew some ideas
So I just saw the Jackson movie, it was peak and I highly recommend people going to see it. However it got me thinking, did people actually think MJ would be the headliner for S14?
like I always got somewhat people said it would be to advertise the film, but that always seemed like such a far fetch. Like I never saw Epic dishing out the extreme Money he would cost just to line up with a film. Thats not even talking about the questions about even IF the estate would allow him in, in the first place
this isn’t me saying he wouldn’t be a great headliner, he’s the most popular artist in history for a reason, but it never was really likely. We have ONLY gotten songs from the Jackson 5, which is different label, throughout any Harmonix rhythm game. Which heavily suggests that either the MJ label is either:
A- not willing to play ball at all
or
B- They’re asking for far too much
After S14 got revealed, I saw so many people saying “Why isn’t it Jackson?!” But imo he was never, and probably never will be, on the table. Despite how much I would personally love it
Just a grind my gears moment. I like playing solo festival and having my favourited skins in my locker be part of the band, but the default avatar will take up a slot probably about 30% of the time I start a session. I know it's a very little inconvenience and I can just exit lobby and rejoin until they're gone but still, I have over 40 favourited skins and I want them to show up while I play alone, not the random default avatar. It's like when you're taking a photo with your friends and a random decides to come in and pose alongside - just feels so wrong to the point I can't focus on the jam track when I notice them in the background. Does anyone else feel the same way?
