Will Haugh's return influence Chinyelu's decision regarding the draft/return to UF?

And do we have the money to pay him? It looks like his best case scenario as a rookie would be around 1 mil per year. Can we guarantee at least that much in total comp?

How does Thomas Haugh's return rank with Tim Tebow and the 2006 basketball National Title team returning to the program?

Who would you rank as Florida’s biggest rival in Men’s Basketball?

For me:

  1. Voltards - Cannot stand those annoying inbreds who act like they are a basketball school now even though they have accomplished nothing and regularly embarrasses the SEC with their annual choke jobs in the ncaa tournament.

  2. Kentucky - That spoiled fanbase is way too toxic for me to respect. They act like they deserve to have every big name recruit and transfer available. Overspends on their roster every year only to choke in most years.

  3. Criminoles - Definitely despise them way more for Football. Am just happy that the Gators are back to owning them on annual basis as it always should be as that program is usually irrelevant in basketball.

  4. Georgia - Same as fsu, it is much more of a football rivalry. Those mutts usually always irrelevant in basketball as well. Happy that they took mid major Mike and saved the the Gators some money. Mike and those soft ass mutts are the perfect match as they’ll continue to stay irrelevant while the Gators are competing for titles regularly.

Assuming that Chineylu is coming back and Aberdeen is able to get his eligibility for 1 more year, does Florida even need to pursue anyone else in the transfer portal?

If both guys are able to join, then Florida should still be a title contender next season even if they do not add anyone else from the transfer portal. Florida is loaded with experience for next season. Projected Depth Chart:

G Fland      Isaiah Brown

G Klavzar   AJ Brown    Alex Lloyd

F Haugh     D-Aberdeen

F Condon    CJ ingram

C Chinyelu   Viktor Mikic

Sources: Billy Donovan decides to step down as Bulls coach

Some news about a former Gators men’s basketball head coach. Might be worth looking at with all the rumors of Golden State potentially pursing Golden.

Poll Question: Was it worth losing early in the tournament to get the boys back?

Context: Golden said in a sit down with ESPN that he was pretty much a done deal for the NBA but that loss came so out of nowhere it changed everything for Tommy and how he wants his legacy to be at Florida.

So my question: Was it worth losing so early in the tournament to get Tommy and the boys back? How far would they have had to go, to make it not worth it?

For me, Final Four and you are at peace with what happens there but anything short of that? Man, give me the chance to run it back, win another conference title and see if we can’t make some tourney magic strike again.

Thomas Haugh Back! Senior Class Redemption Tour

Is Zel confirmed to have eligibility? If he doesn’t, would we know in time to potentially get Milan still? Curious if we will go after any big transfers or if it will be more depth/roster fillers.

The Warriors reportedly looking at Todd Golden as a replacement for Kerr if he doesn’t return.

I think it doesn’t happen. Steve Kerr still would be the Warriors coach come next season. This might just be leverage for Todd.

Vince Carter and the Gators rise

Watching Magic Pistons and I see Vince Carter on the half time show.

What do fellow Gator basketball fans think Florida basketball would have looked like if Vince chose Kruger and the gator bois instead of UNC? Would it have been a big enough impact to have even circumvented Billy coming to town when he did?
