Seriously, it feels like the game that critics like hbomberguy describe and the game that Fallout 3 actually is are two different things.
The game is so fantastic it's crazy.
I'd argue that Hank squared away the Enclaves biggest win that we're aware of in the setting with the destruction of Shady Sands. But I expect them to get their teeth kicked in as the story continues to unfold. It's tradition.

I usually don't join the bad guys factions often, if ever. In 76 you sorta do, but it's an empty bunker run by a sociopathic AI overlord with nobody there. It didn't feel like joining an active faction. Something more fleshed out would be cool.

I’m a “my species supremacy” bro with distinct facial hair and cop hair. I was groomed for this position from a young age and have grown into a frighteningly pragmatic true believer. Huge fan of genocide, flying, and explosions. The main reason my militaristic faction hasn’t taken over is because of our small numbers and our own internal issues struggling with recruitment without diluting our pure ideals. But one of ours is worth legions of theirs. You may really want to kill me, but my fashion aura is unmatched. No, you can’t have my coat.
