One less attacking option. Powell re-joining the list was expected after an injury at Wednesday's practice.
Haven’t been to a game in a couple years, Boupendzas first game here. Yet to see Messi and Miami in person. I’ll obviously be rooting for the blue guys but is there any word that Messi will definitely play ? Want to be sure the second hand ticket market is worth it. Thanks
And this Song of the Vine,
This greeting of mine,
The winds and the birds shall deliver
To the Queen of the West,
In her garlands dressed,
On the banks of the Beautiful River.
HW Longfellow, from the poem “Catawba Vine”, which popularized the nickname the Queen City in reference to Cincinnati
But Queen City this Queen City that, what about Charlotte’s *other* nicknames? To Wikipedia!
Oh, hmmm. Seems like it’s that or “The hornets nest” for them. Not a great selection
What about their motto? Surely they’ve got something awesome to rival our *Juncta Juvant*? Right?
“Charlotte’s got a lot”
Eeeesh. Real inspirational motto
Anyways, there’s a soccer game. Whether you buy into it as the Queen City derby or not (for me the Queen City derby is with the Independence), we’ve got to play in their stupid NFL stadium tonight. Last time we won this matchup was 2023, and we’ve never won there. Seems to me like we’re due. They’re on 4 straight losses, we’re on the rise.
Let’s go out and show em that the real Queen City is about more than just being named after a dead Hapsburg!
Miles and Obi didn’t grab a starting spot, most likely we want to keep them fit in an attempt to have them be fully healthy
But overall couldn’t be better or worse if we play like we have been
Let's hear it...
Dayton FCC fan here. Usually for away games I watch from home or sometimes with the Hangar 937 supporter group watch party up here in Dayton.
Tonight I will be in Cincy. Does any supporter groups do watch parties for away games? Wanted to hit Sam Adams taproom. I know Briogaid is there pre game for home games but don't know about away. Any other supporter groups do away watch parties?
Heading up for the game from Central Kentucky with my son, a Messi fan like every 10yo. We will BOTH, however be cheering for the Orange and Blue! How do we feel the chances are?
Two views of a beautiful goal from 18-year old Leo Orejarena in FCC2's 2-1 win of the Heck is Plausible derby on Sunday.
How does the day look for everyone? Lots of meetings? Tip-tapping away at emails? Explaining to your co-workers why it seems like the entire city is talking about today’s match? Skyline for lunch? It’s 513 day, after all
Lock in, crank out those spreadsheets, then unwind by heading to the teek for happy hour. Match kicks off at 7:30! COY FCC!
Sorry about the quality, but what ever happened to the wings on the side of the scoreboard? They are in the stadium viewer.
The flags in the Bailey are honestly way too big and blocking my view
Edit: prolly pride or di thought this was cute and wanted a reddit post. I gave it to them and hope they know all they’re fucking cringe for this flag
