I support taxing billionaires more. But I also wish we could be honest about this being a clash of interests, of which neither side are inherently more deserving than the other. A conflict which we are willing to use force and the threat of state violence to benefit the side we sympathize with more.

Morality becomes a manipulative tool to make our side sound righteous rather than just a preference.
