I made this embroidery for my boyfriend that looves this pokemon
I still can’t figure how to do the outline stitch and not get this zigzag-ish ending :(
Any advices or feedbacks i’m glad to get feel free to let me know 🌼
My first beaded piece and second time using single-strand metallic floss. What the legends say is true: metallic floss is a beautiful yet untamable beast.
A little off-season, but I finally got my living space back after a leak, so the first thing I did was finish this off.
For a friend of mine. Here's the picture she sent me as my reference.
I had to lighten up the face to help bring it forward, it was just too dark and very muted. I broke three needles in the last few days going through so many layers of thread!
This is my first time trying embroidery! Thought it was really fun and relaxing to complete. I got this kit on Amazon for $9 with three different projects. Any thoughts or constructive feedback is welcome so I can learn before my next project 😌
I’ve cross stitched for a couple years (very intermediately) and I wanted to try to embroider something for my sister as a wedding gift. To try it out I was a “W” for my mom in case it went bad. I know it’s not perfect but if there is any tips before I start my second one please share! I’m excited to start a new hobby.
Now I gotta decide on the shape of the patch
My first detailed project! I loved doing it and learned a lot! There are a few in progress shots and the final back picture. My husband was amused at the chaos of the back 🤣.
My sister’s wedding is in a month. I have a specific idea of what I want for my toddlers shirt, but can’t see to find anything that really matches that idea. So I thought maybe I’d make it?
My plan is to dye the shirt black (80% cotton, 20% recycled polyester), then attempt to embroider flowers that are similar to my dress (picture 3) on the collar & pocket, kind of like what’s shown here(pictures 1 & 2 -not my photos, random Google Photos).
Do you think this is approachable for someone with literally no experience? Or is this overly ambitious and I should bow out now before I spend too much money & time on this project.
Just as the title says. This is a gift for a nursery, so I want to make sure it looks good!
Made her for my daughter. I tried out a different technique for the edge and I think it’s so much easier.
Stitched from a kit by iMakeStitch (https://imakestitch.com/products/blue-heart-flower-mini)
This is the second kit of theirs I’ve done, and again a lot of fun to work on - the materials are just so gosh-darned sparkly and shiny!
