UE Sword, to buy or not to buy (my thoughts).

As we know, UE Sword is back for one more comeback before it is gone forever, and I've noticed lots of people asking the question if it's worth getting, so here's my thoughts after buying and using it for myself.

Pros:

  1. It's ability is devastating - when someone shoots your absorber it really does boost the damage to high levels, and pair that with the execute pilot and you've got yourself a solid robot to finish off tanky foes with % damage

  2. The arms - these things are really solid, very helpful in countering tanky enemies with % damage and the best part is, they don't need to be a super high level to work well as the % damage is the same at low level as it is high

  3. It's a true titan slayer - most titan slayers are just titan slayers in name and don't really do the best against an actual titans, but UE sword truly feels like a good option if your titan dies early and everyone else is running their titans

Cons:

  1. Shieldbreaker shuts it down FAST - this is a huge problem as there are so many bots running shieldbreaker that it makes sword hard to use at times especially as you are so vulnerable in the sky if you are caught by a shieldbreaker

  2. It's very expensive - as expected with ultimates, and UE sword is no different, it's expensive to buy and people often forget just how expensive it is to actually upgrade (you are looking at a few billion silver and lots of tokens to max everything)

  3. Smart players camp your teleporter - while it might look safe at takeoff, it takes time to learn where you should actually activate your ability from as smart players will just wait for you to drop down, and there is literally nothing you can do about it

So after the main pros and cons I've found after using it for a while, would I say it's worth it?

That depends, if you can afford the sword itself and the upgrades then yes, it's a very solid bot, and it won't ever be back after this so if you really do like sword then it's your final chance to get it.

If you can't afford the costs and expect a total wipeout performance at anaksors level, then no, anaksor has very little counters in the air and on the ground, unlike sword who has a major and widespread weakness in shieldbreaker, making it better than UE sword in my opinion, and so if you want absolute performance over anything, go get an anaksor

These are just my brief opinions and I'm sure experts who have owned the sword for longer know more than I do and could chime in, but hopefully it helps anyone looking to buy the sword.

Honestly better watching these guys go Duke it out, than die by their hands

For those who asked for it, here's an average game with my Eiffel

Usually I get this score on ok games, I've done better but it was the first try I recorded it and it was good enough, so hopefully it gives you a general idea of how it functions
