Remember when Elmo cosplayed as an anime character?
I know Sesame Street does parody sketches of popular movies and TV shows but seeing Elmo cosplaying as LUFFY from One Piece 🤯, they never even parodied Pokémon!!! Yes it’s because live action One Piece is a Netflix show but still!
What mind-blowing, unexpected crossover will we get next? Kratt brothers in a Pokémon commercial? 🤷♀️
What education books can PBS Kids adapt from?
Some PBS Kids shows like Arthur, Curious George, Magic School Bus, and Clifford were adapted from books but what educational or edutainment books can be adapted to PBS Kids today? I think the Fly Guy and Pig the Pug series could work.

How Executives Treat Story Driven Preschool Shows (Craig Gerber Edition)
Given all this talk about story arcs for preschool shows, mainly Sofia The First, I figured now would be a good time to bring up this 2019 interview that Craig Gerber took part, mainly around the 28 minute mark. It's mainly in relation to Elena Of Avalor, but it can apply to just about any preschool show with a story arc. In the interview, he says how network executives like to group kids shows in various demographics regardless of what the creators intend. He says how Elena Of Avalor was produced by Disney Junior, but it was decided early on to air on both Disney Channel and Disney Junior in order to reach a wider audience. However, the ratings were much higher with the regular Disney Junior target audience, making up 70% of viewership. As such, even though the show matured, it was marketed more heavily as a Disney Junior show since that's where the bigger numbers are. This can basically describe any preschool show with a story arc. The creators may intend to appeal to everyone, but network executives decide the audience and tone for preschool shows in order to get the bigger money. Even with recent marketing appealing to adults because of Royal Magic, they never show anything from the more mature final season. It's just a reference to "Crown Of Blossoms" for International Women's Day.
