The Muppet Script returns to bring you MUPPET TREASURE SCRIPTLAND! When most people think of the Muppets, they think of the colorful characters made out of fleece and foam. But as with every movie, it all starts on the written page. Before returning to the big screen, the Muppets team returned to the writers' room. Another literary classic was turned on its head when Muppets scribe JERRY JUHL skewered ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON'S tale of nautical adventure, joined this time by KIRK THATCHER and JAMES V. HART, and directed once again by JIM HENSON'S son, BRIAN HENSON. This performance will be a treasure worth its weight in gold!

This show will be raising funds for CALIFORNIA COLLABORATIVE FOR IMMIGRANT JUSTICE. The CCIJ utilizes coordination, advocacy, and legal services to fight for the liberation of immigrants in detention in California, envisioning a world where no one is subject to incarceration (physical or electronic) or family separation. They move beyond traditional legal services and support innovative approaches to liberation and empowerment of detained immigrants and their communities.

Jay Johnston

I was listening to an episode of James Bonding with PFT as the guest. They were discussing the Goldeneye video game and Paul mentioned Jay Johnston and my ears perked up because I know he hasn’t really spoken too much about that whole thing. But instead they just kept right on going without even skipping a beat. It took a second for it to sink in….. “Ooohhh, this was from the before times.” I guess podcasts kind of exist outside of time to me until something like that comes up that puts such a timestamp on it.

Joining them is breakout stand-up comedian, actor, and Command Z star Chloe Radcliffe! What's her connection with the film? How does this rank among Nic Cage performances? After just listening to (and tremendously enjoying) Analyze Phish for the first time (RIP Harris), I decided to give U Talkin’ a listen, despite my loathing the band U2. I’m now 10 episodes in and I absolutely love this podcast. The Scotts have such incredible chemistry, and despite having to listen to all of these awful U2 songs, I can’t stop listening. It’s just so fucking funny. Wish I had heard this in real time.

How Did This Get Made? #397: The Big Hit

> Mark Wahlberg, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Christina Applegate star in the 1998 action-comedy The Big Hit—a movie that tries to make a farce out of kidnapping and murder while giving off vibes of a rejected Mountain Dew commercial. Paul, June, and Jason analyze Marky Mark breakdancing mid-gun fight, the locker room masturbation convo, the video store clerk, if Keiko was in high school or college, the "romantic" kosher dinner cooking scene, and so much more. Plus, a discussion about a bathroom with two doors leads to a rare June traumatic childhood story. > > JASON'S COMPANION VIEWING RECS: > Videoheaven (2025) > Film Club (2025)
