Just got my eride pro mini r. I’m not able to edit regen like it doesn’t even pop up is this because I’m full battery?

If it is possible please let me know if I need a mounting bracket or anything special to make it compatible.

I am looking to upgrade my 11 year old son’s e-bike from a ‘24 Surron LBX, whose battery cable melted and is stuck in the battery. I will not buy another Surron so looking for info between the eride pro SR and Venus One Plus. I know these are both very powerful bikes and I know you can tune them to be more mellow. How mellow, I don’t know. I don’t know much about these bikes in general, so please be kind.

Info on his riding capabilities-

He’s been riding dirt since about 7. Riding DH mountain bikes since 6. He loves wheelying down the street on his LBX. He mostly uses his bike for dirt/trail riding and loves hitting jumps. His Surron LBX suspension was bottoming out when he’d land a jump. He was probably getting 3-4’ of air and weighs 95 lbs.

I want something that will last as long as these bikes can, so with solid components. I want something I can adjust (that he can’t change) to make it more comparable to the Surron LBX in terms of torque/speed/overall power. And I want something whose battery connection won’t melt (WTF Surron).
