I woke up today and chose violence…

Powerhouse vs cupcake, freshman setting, full 15 minute quarters, no accelerated clock. Just to see what would happen.

The pause menu stopped counting points after 226. Georgia State and Cumberland College, eat your heart out.

Fortune finally smiled upon me (read below)

so i (Oregon) was playing a Road to CFP game. first game on, and i made a couple egregious mistakes early that led to me being down 21-0 by the 2nd quarter. i battled back to 14-28 by halftime, i get ROBBED (by animation) of a perfect underneath pick 6, then proceeded to go down 14-31 with a quarter and a half to go.. i score instantly and pop a 2pt to make it 22-31, i had a turnover on downs and thought the game was over. but then i got a pick, got down the field and was held to a FG, 25-31. there is a chance! until there isn’t.. a couple of explosive plays and he’s made his way into FG range. he chews clock, kicks the FG on 4th with about a minute left, 25-34.. it’s gg’s chat. but wait! i was able to put together one final drive for pride’s sake, got into the endzone with about 6 seconds left i think? i ran another 2pt and it was dropped.. so 31-34 isn’t so bad i guess for a game in which i put myself down 21 points, right? i tried the onside, it bounced off his player and it was close but he still recovered. but with the game 99.9% over, he calls a timeout. ego maybe hurt from the score gap being bridged, he got greedy and wanted to put one more score up. (ONE SECOND LEFT against Alabama!!!! LOL we’ve seen that before) so now finally, that’s where this clip comes into play. an incredible INT, ran back with cheeks clinched and sweatly palms, tense enough to shatter a diamond, and I MADE IT, BAH GAWD 37-34 😭😭 this was one of the most gratifying wins ever because i had already accepted my fate. and then i got to show this punk why you should never be greedy 😂💪🏻

RTG players what (realistic) improvements would you like to see in 27?

Like stuff that could actually be added in just one year. Honestly, playing normal high school games or keep the moments as an option for people who want to get to college ball faster. I'd like to know if the coach who's recruiting me leaves the program before I sign with them. I had my QB commit to Temple, but I didn't realise that the coach quit and was replaced by a coach who ran the triple option. Ideally, I'd like all positions to be playable again, but if nothing else, at least add EDGE as an option. An overhaul to the recruiting process would be nice too. Could they do this easily? Yes. Will they? Probably not, but a guy can dream. It's EA, so I'm not expecting much, if anything, to be different in this mode

Good morning to the Sack!

Over the last 6 months two of our members were diagnosed with Cancer and underwent risky surgeries to remove it. Corey Harris and Alan Gegax .

Thankfully both are alive to tell the story.

This episode Alan recounts the surgery itself and the immediate days after it.

Seems like any episode where either of suffer becomes very popular...I am starting to wonder about you guys.

it feels like this time last year and the year before by this point we had new features revealed, new music and even cover athletes. Now i can’t see anything coming for CFB 27, not even an official release date. all I see is “thing people want in 27” like fbs trams, 4 years of hs with playoffs, custom stadium nights (whiteout, stripeou, military appreciation night and senior night) and a rtg that doesn’t suck.

A rough road ahead while potentially being on the Hot Seat. But, that’s what rebuilding is all about.

Even though it’s probably never gonna happen because EA is notorious for never doing anything to improve their games. Everywhere I look on my Instagram feed. It’s those AI-generated videos of what college football would look like if it had an open world like NBA 2K's My Player mode.

To me, it would be pretty cool, but it just seems incredibly hard, especially if it were to be done right. I mean, they would technically have to account for every single college team's campus, which would be awesome, especially for those known for beautiful campuses, like the University of Notre Dame, Stanford, or BYU. But some of these schools are absolutely massive, and how they would have to completely tailor everything around each specific university, which even for a normal game company that cares a lot is a lot of work
