I love this record. Especially with Spring having arrived. It’s so smooth and minimalist.

Please recommend records that sound like this.
Thank you.

Spatial analysis…

Some recorded hardware and arranged, mostly performed with Maschine+. Enjoy 😉

Ride the rhythm…

There’s some recorded clips from hardware arranged in Logic, but the automation, and performance is through Maschine. Enjoy 😉

Hello! Lately I’ve been hooked to this dubby, club sound which relies between house and dub techno. I really wanna explore it, but I’m kinda stuck and don’t know which labels to explore. I’ve been listening to Mike Dehnert’s label (Fachwerk) and found some cool sounding stuff. I’ve also checked out Claro Intelecto and I really fell in love with his soundscape. Do you guys have some recommendations? Reference tracks that come to my mind are:

  1. Claro Intelecto - Night of the maniac
  2. Sascha Rydell - Careless
  3. Mike Dehnert - MD

Artist, Labels and IDs are all welcome in the comments. Looking forward to explore ✌️

Hi everyone,

I’m relatively new to the genre, extremely obssesed, and I feel im still far from discerning when an electronic album would be considered dub techno or not. But with my limited understanding, Barker’s latest album definitely feels connected to that world to me.

I found this “In the Studio with Barker” video, published today, where he talks about the making of the album, and thought some people here might enjoy seeing a bit of what’s behind the magic and the mysterious production.

I’d also love to hear whether people in this community generally consider the album to be dub techno, or if you’d place it somewhere else.

Personally, I think the album is an absolute masterpiece.

a modest attempt at making lo-fi dub techno - Liver Flower "Chatanga Thundra"

Essentially it is a single long track divided into seven parts, drawing inspiration from both early dub-techno and certain lo-fi electronic, dark ambient and related genres.
You can listen to it on Bandcamp

It’s been six years since my last single.

It’s being released today as a digital single. 🥳

“Humanoid Must Not Escape” is a deep dub techno track.

Would you like to support me in my future music projects?

Keep in touch!
