What an incredible read!
Just finished the manga. Decided to randomly read it after remembering the first page of the first chapter. I saw it like 10 years ago and thought it was awesome, but wasn’t much of a reader then.
It 5 day or so day binge for me (not much free time). Man is this good! Wish I would’ve read it as a kid and grew up with it, given it took 18 years!
I wanna know how the anime holds up (gonna watch regardless) and you guys’ thoughts on the manga.
So far, it’s one of my favorite reads, period. Q Hayashida’s artwork is INCREDIBLE, even the panels that weren’t as detailed are so good. I’m not sure if the story is actually that good, but I enjoyed it a lot. A little convoluted forwards the end, but that’s how it always goes. I love that Hayashida stuck it out and gave it a proper ending instead of ending in Volume 19. That’s some dedication and makes it so much better.
Oh, another discussion-ish thing: any manga recommendations based on liking this so much? Hayashida’s work or not.

Remade Kaiman in Tomodachi life better than in the demo along with En and Nikaido
About a week ago I posted my Kaiman that I had done in like 15 minutes, now that I have the full game I went all out and actually took my time!
I love him so much, I'm having a blast making these characters and their clothes, didn't have time to make Nikaido's clothes but I'll do it eventually

Your Dream Dorohedoro Game
It feels like there’s at least one video game adaptation for every anime out there...But What would your dream Dorohedoro game look like?
I’d be super hyped if Suda51 got involved and developed a Dorohedoro action-adventure game. The crazy and diverse ideas he brings to his games fit perfectly into the world of Dorohedoro. Of course, with Hayashida herself on board again, just like she was for Shadows of the Damned.

The whole Caiman thing in the manga was crazy cause I just can’t my head around the fact that..
Caiman was technically gone.. for SIX YEARS (spell 60-117 2007-2013). I cannot imagine waiting that long for the protagonist to come back, though ig in Dorohedoro everyone’s pretty much the main protagonist but still, how did the old time fans handle that? Ik there was Aikawa and Kai but wow lmao

Is Kaiman at the start Kai but lost his memory and not influenced by Hole?
I feel like Kaiman at the start is very similar to Kai. He have crosseyes, hate sorcerer with the passion of 1000 burning sun, like food that is similar to ravioli.
