Made a new set of clothes for my Ryland Grace as I didn’t like my first attempt of the pants, and I got a hold of some iron on vinyl to make the shirt print. Rocky is still coming, he’s just taking longer than planned!
I'm fixing up some secondhand dolls, and their hair has been a beast to tame. I need to know how many braids to give Metal Chick now that her hair is finally detangled! Thanks :-)
Monster high g3 Cleo doll, I partially removed her face makeup and repainted with acrylics, her face tear is made using milliput epoxy putty, her hair was styled using an empty citadel paint pot with her hair brushed over it and tied, then pva glue to keep the curls, it was actually a real pain and it’s not perfect but I can’t even do my own hair normally so I’ll accept it.
Sewed her dress and painted it with acrylics, Shes wearing monster high draculara shoes.
Had fun creating this guy! Will probably add to him over time but this is it for now! Need to buy some more Apoxie sculpt to finish a lot of these guys up! What should we name their type of creature?

I’ve been wanting to make an Alysa Liu American Girl for a minute, and I am absolutely stumped about how to make her hair.
want to do her “halo,” raccoon hair, but it seems impossible to achieve. I want to just color on the lines with a sharpie, but I’ve heard those transfer easily. I could make a wig with human wefts, but that would deteriorate. It would be easiest to make a wig that can be dyed with regular hair dye to make things easier. What do you recommend? Any advice?
Hello everyone! I've been rather into customs and have done several! However I want to farther add to my abilities! I have an idea to make a fanart doll of Rouxls Kaard from Deltarune out of a Slo Mo doll, however he's not as blue as I'd like? I would've used a Hyde, but he's EXTREMELY expensive, so I was hoping to dye him! Tho I can't find an exact tutorial that doesn't end in sploches or other problems!
I would love to know if anyone has experience who could give me a quick step by step on how to get a good dye on the monster high boy bodies.

I did tattoos on one of my dolls and it looked too bright and brand new! To add a bit of storytelling on your doll and "how long they've had each tattoo" use foundation powder over the tattoos! The more powder the more grown over it looks!

So…. I was trying to remove the eyes from this doll using the hot water method. The first eye came out perfectly, and the second was giving me a really hard time. So against all other advice, i put more water in the head to soften the vinyl to give it that one last try… and it looks like I really messed up the eye lol. As you can see on the inside, the eye socket looks to be a bit torn. I’m not sure what the integrity of the eye looks like, but I’m nervous to try to get it out again. (This is not an American Girl but one of the knock offs popular in the 90s-2000s that I purchased to potentially practice eye swapping when I’m ready to do it on AG dolls.)
Has anyone ever run into this problem before? Any advice to get the eye out and do some damage control?

What it says on the tin! This really lovely hair is from AliExpress, she just needs some glue and a boil wash. :)
This doll was originally a Frankie and painted some shades lighter, however when I rerooted the hair her face paint came off and her original vinyl was stained a nice tan colour which I ran with.
I am doing this just for fun and trying to be on a budget (can’t afford msc, airbrush etc) so if anyone has any suggestions for ways to change skin tone in future to avoid paint peeling I would appreciate it :)

I only used materials I had available to me; acetone, acrylics, pens, tin foil, wire and some nail gems. Some of the paintwork isn’t the cleanest, but I’m working on it!

Okay, I am working on a Shinji Ikari from Evangelion doll custom. I posted a request on the Eva sub reddit and I found someone to work with. I asked them that I really wanted the head to match the anime as close as possible and to have the exact same vibe. This is what they came with. This is NOT Shinji in ANY ways. And they asked me 25 dollars before I received this update and 25 dollars after. After I told them to make modifications bc this isn't what I wanted, they asked me for an extra 20 dollars. Is this a scam? I putted the model on Google Lens to see if they scammed me and I didn't find it but I really don't believe that they could miss my promt so much.
Hi everyone! I bought this almost lifeless body in second hand. Its not as sturdy as id like (like Rainbow High/monster high or just budget Barbie). I want to change the head for a barbie one and make little changes to the body, yet im afraid of her hollowness.
What should i do? I dont have epoxy, only nail resin (?) and uv, pva glues and many weird things, just not that. I want yo give her better look (she was at the very bottom of the box, thought about her for a week or two🙇)

Hi! This is my first post but I really wanted to share the custom I am currently working on. This is the second time I paint a face so if y’all have tips, you’re more than welcome to help. The base doll is Lagoona fright camera action (with her shoes/ purse/ necklace but it’s cut), the hands and the bracelet come from Freaky fusion Scara x Toralei, everything else is hand made!

I just got my first full-size figure and she came with a gorgeous long synthetic wig.
The problem is, every time I try to gently brush it or style a ponytail, the whole wig cap slides right off her head. Since the head is completely smooth vinyl/silicone, there’s zero friction.
Do I need to buy a specific silicone wig grip band, or do people actually use a bit of temporary adhesive to keep it pinned down?
I don't want to damage the scalp.
sorry i completely destroyed the packaging. I wanna make a custom doll of a character I like but his skintone is more tan/golden shade. I dont own an airbrush and was wondering how i can tan up the base doll. Would i need to use prime beforehand? If so what kind? I believe the head is vinyl its very firm.
