The success of Dispatch changed AdHoc Studio’s internal plans, and they’re now finding ways to explore specific stories and characters within the universe.

More interviews done by AdHoc Studio for Brazilian outlets during gamescom latam 2026 are coming out, and with them some really interesting stuff about the future of the franchise showed up.

Here’s the most relevant info translated:

The success of Dispatch seems to have opened doors for the future of the franchise. During gamescom latam 2026, Nick Herman, the game’s director and co-founder of AdHoc Studio, commented on the possibility of new content and a continuation of the project — although he avoided revealing concrete details.

In an interview with Voxel, Herman explained that the studio was already envisioning a bigger future for the Dispatch universe while the first game was still in development. According to him, the positive reception from players ended up changing the team’s internal plans, which can now consider new stories and characters within that universe.

The creators of Dispatch hint at plans for a sequel.

When talking about a possible continuation, Nick Herman kept things mysterious, but made it clear that there are ideas being discussed internally. “If I talk about what I’d like to explore, I’d basically be telling you what’s going to happen,” the director joked.

According to him, Dispatch was always created with a long-term vision in mind, but the studio didn’t expect to get the chance to expand the project this soon. Now, with the positive reception from players, the team sees a lot of potential in continuing to develop the game’s characters and stories.

Herman also said the team is still figuring out just how far they can take the franchise. “There’s a lot of opportunity and a lot of characters we want to keep exploring,” he said.

Pretty much Robert's POV when he met Mandy (Mecha Blazer Edit by me!! ^^)

sharing more MechaBlazer since you all seem to love them as much as i do. 😔🙏🏻

Also with the recent news i've been hearing about lately of a potential update I'm really excited for that. An endless mode definitely makes the game's replayability better! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

My Season 2 idea

My idea would include, Z-Team members will be based your season 1 choices. I would introduce Street Level Heroes and Anti-heroes. A small group of anti-heroes get arrested and the SDN manages to get them into the Phoenix Program as a Court Agreement. The Anti-heroes and Z-Team have a Punisher-Daredevil relationship. A NEW group of most wanted highly danger super villains threaten the city. The Federal Heroes Agency (FHA) sends in their black ops anti-hero team to deal with the super villains, the FHA conflict with the SDN.

The Different Expressions of RR3

My personal favorite is his "I'm repulsed yet I don't want to put my energy into this" face

Also, I only noticed this just now, but he looks actually disappointed about his lack of three triple crunch tacos.

Anyway this is just an excuse to make a Robert appreciation post.

I saw someone else on here with like 150 pictures of just Robert and I need to empty my Switch screenshots. Felt inspired, so thank you to that user.

What do you guys think blonde blazers original name was?

As most of you know Flambae was originally named blonde blazer, the interesting thing is blonde blazer that we got existed at that point. So , what do you think her name was at that point?

Me personally, i actually believe that she didn't have a name at that point, to my knowledge , I don't think there's any mention of her having a name before the one we got, and all the ones after that referred to her ask blonde blazer.

They probably had a name that they called her when they were working on her , but I don't think it was her official name yet.

But what do you think?

Tried drawing a chibi of my F/O

I tried drawing a chibi version of Waterboy being nervous 💛🩵 I ended up altering his design a little bit because I'm still not so good at drawing. I know that I can still improve, but this is one of the few drawings I have made taking more from my imagination than from the reference and I am happy about that. I love my precious boy, I know he is really shy sometimes so I promised myself to always support him ❤️‍🩹

I guess Robert almost looked like Sea Salt...

From the deluxe edition artbook. Funny how people compare the game to Invincible so much, and yet Robert was almost designed to resemble a much younger Cecil Stedman anyway, even with similar jobs. Heck, they even shared the same facial scar lmao.
