I'm not entirely sure if Season 8 will be a special season featuring three characters, but based on his remarks, I suspect that Moon Girl and DD will appear as independently playable characters. Given how significant a spoiler this is, it seems he intentionally hinted that Moon Girl and DD will be added to the game in a manner similar to how Peni Parker was introduced. In reality, Moon Girl and DD are separate characters, but he deliberately tried to confuse people. Am I getting my hopes up too high?

Thanks to Miller's stream, I've changed my opinion on MG and DD being dual characters. I now think they will be one character, with Moongirl riding ontop of him whilst the player controls DD and MG's tech.

Miller hints that Moongirl is in the same predicament as Peni, however he wouldn't be happy if she wasnt present in the battlefield or as non existent as Peni. He however is very happy with how Netease handled Moongirl. He basically implies she's more present than Peni and we already know Peni gets all the voicelines. So Moongirl will obviously be more present than just voicelines.

I think the disappointment he alludded to was the people who wanted them to be like Cloak and Dagger. They're more like Peni...but if she was visible.

Either way I've attached pics from No Man's Sky to show how I think it works. I also think DD will be a tech Dino using MG's inventions.
