Dave n Buster's closed and I'm still playing does the chips go back on my card?
Stranger Things is a solid game, and it is fair. It’s not insanely hard, but it is not an easy game. Good workout too. There is the issue of balls getting stuck at times, but it’s not a big issue most of the time.
It also feels different from other games, giving it a uniqueness and replay-ability.
The jackpot score is progressive, so it can’t be farmed indefinitely, which is fair and understandable.
I give it somewhere around an A- for the time being
A tech at my local D&B said they changed a solenoid in the Quik Drop and now it is nearly impossible to win as it does not drop the balls consistently when the button is tapped. The Jackpot rarely used to eclipse 800 and now it sits at 1000. Quite irritating.
I visited the location earlier this week, and it looks like the Pump it Up dancing game and the Sonic / Mario Olympic game were being removed from the location.
There is an empty spot next to the Dance Dance Revolution where the PIU was.
I know this has shown up at a couple of new locations, but this is the first legacy store I've seen it at to date. It's a shuffle puck target game, where the targets move and change values. Looks like jackpots start at 250 and get progressively larger; someone hit the JP shortly after I took this photo.
FWIW, they also had Stranger Things over here and it was set to a 100 ticket JP, compared to the 500 ticket JP I saw a few days ago in Hilliard, OH.
So I hear tell that the grand opening will be Monday May 4th.
Anyone know if there’ll be any kind of soft opening prior to that?
Hi,
It'll be my first time getting a pass and I wanted to know how it compared to the previous Platinum season pass. I assume the season pass was usable for a longer time since it lasted the whole season, meaning more weeks to get 2k tickets and more play.
Is the new 60 day pass inferior to the season pass or is it better?
I'll be getting the pass anyways, but just curious.
Thank you.
I told my kids (10 and 14) they could each bring a friend to D&B for a couple of hours and I have no idea what I’ve gotten myself into.
Realistically how much should I plan on spending? Do I buy a card for each kid? Does it make more sense to eat before we go?
I’ve looked at the website and I’m now in just extra confused.
Obviously, it is not set up, but it appears that it has the jackpot listed for the card set. I remember a worker telling me that it would not have cards. If it does have cards, that is a huge win for Dave & Buster’s because it has been a very long time since they got a new coin pusher with cards
First 100 people in line for renovation debut got 15 months of $75/month vouchers. What a fun time!!! End of an era! Time for a Mario party!
A few years back, my girlfriend and I earned enough tickets to get her the sound board that used to be available at DaveAndBusters. I messed up. She played noises from it nonstop all day long and I hid it one day because she was annoying me with it and I needed a break. I anticipated the day she’s find it and rejoice. I accidentally hid it so good that when we moved, we lost it forever and she’s very sad because it was apparently the PERFECT sound board.
If anyone could help me figure out exactly the kind of soundboard they had/carry, it would be a huge help to me. A brand or photo or something would be very kind, please and thank you.
Delete if not allowed but I’m hoping this can go to someone more appreciative. I was a game tech at DnB at one point in time
My loss your gain. I have a “life size” marquee of Laura Croft that came off of a game. I no longer have space for it. Open to offers. I’m 5’2 and the marquee is about 3 inches taller than me. For reference it’s the side panel. But only her not the whole paneledit to add. I’m not too sure why the pictures didn’t add I can send them or repost.
I see they have a new drink menu and the beer menu looks pretty small, they used to have all kinds of draft beer. But I haven’t been there in a couple of years, was hoping to go for my birthday and drink a few angry orchards,
If Vernon Hills is getting something then it's a pretty good sign it must be coming to all locations. Pretty fun game but only has three stages. They also have Odin's strike now but that one seems scammy. I can never get above 1500 and the jackpot is always conveniently above 1500.
