Hi everyone,

I’m a recent Computer Science graduate (2024) with a strong interest in Data Science and Machine Learning, and I’d really appreciate some honest feedback on my resume.

I’ve worked on projects involving predictive modeling, and I’m currently trying to improve my profile for entry-level Data Science / Analyst roles. I’ve also completed certifications like Google Data Analytics and Azure AI fundamentals.

I’d be grateful if you could review my resume and suggest:

• What I should improve or remove
• Skills/tools I should focus on next
• How I can make my profile more job-ready

Also, if anyone knows of any openings or could provide a referral for fresher roles, I’d truly appreciate it.

My brother has been trying really hard to get his first job in Data Analytics / Power BI and honestly the market feels brutal right now.

He’s not someone who just watched 2 YouTube videos and added “Data Scientist” to bio 😭
He actually has:
- BSc Statistics
- ongoing Data Science internship
- Power BI + SQL + Python skills
- good projects
- Google Data Analytics certification

Still struggling to even get interview calls.
The pressure at home is also getting worse and I’m genuinely worried about his mental health if this keeps going on.

At this point I thought I’ll just ask here directly in case someone from tech companies/startups knows openings for:
- Data Analyst
- Power BI roles
- MIS / Reporting roles
- junior analyst positions
- internships that can convert to full-time

Even referrals or company suggestions would genuinely help.

I have data analyst exp of 4 yrs now I am thinking of moving into data science role. Right now I am working in a VC firm (as Senior data analyst) but I want to break into core tech role. Is it possible has anyone did this?And how should I prepare there are so many resources hard to figure out which one is good. And is it worth doing rn considering the ai wave?
