Do you think this can be viable on Darius? Im think this keystone + scorch synergy ( and coupe de grace maybe?) with bleed will be nice in early lane phase, add ignite into the mix and you will make applying 5 stacks a death sentence in lane.

For context: I’ve been playing league since 2020 not really taking it seriously ranked wise. This season I decided I was going too and needed to pick a main champ to otp. I decided I wanted to play jg because I hated the counter matchups and how technical the lanes can get up there. After trying a TON of champs and nothing sticking I saw a guy on tik tok play Darius jg and he claimed to be the number 1 in NA doing this. It inspired me so I gave it a whirl. I decided I like Darius so much that if I have to learn top to play him I’m okay with that. But I would prefer to stay jg.

Question: I just got to plat last night for the first time and I don’t know if Darius jg is only working this well because it’s low elo and if I should suffer and learn the matchups so I don’t limit my climbing. Or should I stick to what’s working. I would be picking Darius every game in top so that would include blind picking if it comes to it.

I honestly think it will be unplayable, maybe low elo only up to gold max.

PR was that catch that made him work in jungle.

I don’t see conq viable, hob is trash on Darius, very hard to proc without using E first and stormsurge is so unreliable on champ like Darius even late game if they have any shields in comp.

Without PR Darius basically has no escape and his outplay potential in range fights are gone.

I’m so sad about this cuz Darius jungle is something I started about 2 years ago and it became kinda meta and playing it I climbed from silver to emerald and it just all clicked to me playing it. I racked up over 500k mastery points on him jungle, learned every comp, match up, mastered clear on both sides to 2:40 and now its all gone cuz of fking rune removal.

I’ll definitely try stormsurge but its not even close.

I could walk up, do aa-w-aa, proc PR, body block them, dodge cc and still have E and Q to finish off after flash and etc.

I could spam games now while its here but I kinda dont have motivation for it cuz I know it will be gone and its maybe better to drop it now and get used to other champions.

It was nice while it lasted.

Played against one today, d4 elo, she started Q I started W. lost level 1 and subsequently couldn't do anything entire laning phase. thought darius was a camille counter but genuinely was just outtraded every time and the gold/item difference only grew bigger and bigger after. checked lolalytics and in eme+ this matchup is now one of camille's most favored somehow (54.95% wr, and 53.95% wr in dia+)? what changed? no change happened to either of them this patch afaik. only recent change i can think of is the popularisation of phase rush youmuu's darius

So I played Darius for a while now and pushed all the way to Eme 1 with him but I would like to go higher. Since the top quest changes I hated going conq since everyone can take ignite but im stuck with ghost. So I tried out Raider PR Darius and even had some fun with it but I was very inconsistent. I feel like boneplating counters the shit out of me and that playstyle but idk what to do. Darius is known as this strong level 1-3 but I feel like with PR its so weak.

So my question is: how should I trade and when can I really fight cuz ghostblade lets me fell so squishy espacially against other bruisers.
