I live close to downtown but in a nice residential neighborhood. I am so sick and tired of these parties with the loud speakers and music at full volume. Why can't people respect their neighbors. I've been told its their culture so its ok, we should adapt. Why can't people adapt to our existing culture. I don't like to be a pain, but I do call the cops. They don't care. Other neighbors talk about but, but are afraid to complain because they " don't want to make trouble". Some will say to just move, why should I? Why should I go to the huge expense of moving becuase people can't be considerate. I know that this is just a rant and I am not expecting answers to the problem, but I'm sure I am not the only one. This is prompted because I am sitting in my house on a Sunday night hearing noise from a neighbors party thats absolutely ridiculous. I wonder what would happen if I set up a sound system and blasted rock music from the 60's, maybe some Jimi Hendrix or something. I'd probably be arrested.

I am still new to the Danbury area and my parents are visiting for the first time! With that said I wanted to ask for 2 things!

1. My mom has Brazilian heritage and I really wanted to take her to a Brazilian restaurant (I’ve been told Danbury has Brazilian food options)! Any recommendations? Hopefully a nice style restaurant!

2. Any recommendations on things to do in the area? Hopefully no more than an hour drive, but haven’t had the chance to explore too much so would love some suggestions!

We’ve been looking into options because our dog has become a little too confident chasing squirrels toward the road 😅 Traditional fencing for our property would be crazy expensive, especially with the terrain (deep rocks and a bunch of trees I don't want to pay $4k to remove.)

Hi everyone! New to the area and looking for dog daycare/boarding recommendations around Danbury, preferably within 30min drive.

I’m hoping to find a place people genuinely trust, especially for overnight or multi-day boarding, as I travel for work multiple times per year. My small-medium dog is friendly and playful, so he loves group play but prefers to sleep in a crate or his own room at night.

I’d love to hear where you’ve had good experiences — places that felt safe, clean, and well-supervised.

I’d also appreciate hearing about any places you personally wouldn’t go back to, especially if there were issues with injuries, illness, cleanliness, or poor supervision.
