r/DSXSteam

Let me be the first to thank @Paliverse

This is an appreciation post for the amazing @Paliverse.

You created something that Sony in all its might wouldn't even spend time on even though there are many PC players using DS4, DSX and DSX Edge.

Thank you @Paliverse, and thank you @Nefarius, you guys are amazing.

Looking forward to v3.2 😉

DualSense Adaptive Triggers and Haptics stopped working after installing new Xbox App

Adaptive triggers stopped working immediately after launching the Xbox app. I installed the app, tested it, and then launched my favorite game — Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon. Now, both vibration and adaptive triggers are completely broken, whether connected via cable or Bluetooth.

Current situation: Tainted Grail (Avalon): Vibration only works if 'Steam Input' is enabled (both wired/wireless). Triggers are completely dead.

Cyberpunk 2077: Vibration works only via cable. Adaptive triggers work even wirelessly.

Previously, everything worked perfectly over Bluetooth. I've tried every possible setting in DSX, but nothing helps. Before this issue, to get triggers and vibration working in Avalon, I just had to close DSX and disable Steam Input. Now, this workaround no longer works. It seems like the Xbox app/GameBar has messed up the drivers or device priority. How can I fix this and return to my previous wireless setup? ofc i delete xbox shit

Confused about DualSenseX DLC

I recently bought DSX on Steam along with the DLC because I thought it would allow full DualSense haptic feedback/adaptive triggers over Bluetooth instead of requiring USB.

However, after trying it, it seems most games still only properly support haptics through USB. So now I’m confused about what the DLC actually adds or improves.

Also, whenever I enable the DualSense emulation mode, I notice some input lag/delay compared to native controller mode. It feels less responsive. I’m also not sure when I’m actually supposed to use DualSense emulation versus leaving it Native.
