Happy Easter! Hara Hara Press Reunion returns tomorrow!

No seriously, this is an actual question I have. We don't know much about the thing besides the fact that it's paralleling the game a bit and the name of like, 2 characters. Like, yeah, we know her dad is strict but the way she mentions it seems to run a bit deeper than just "he'd make fun of me and call me childish than everyone else". ACT 1 foreshadows both Yuri's self-harm and Natsuki's abuse in a way that makes it seem like both of those problems are way less extreme than in ACT 2, so I don't think her dad would slap her over liking something for kids at that point in time.

However I think we can narrow it down a bit, right? For example I find it unlikely that it's ecchi, given that Natsuki isn't hiding it from her friends nor is she worried about teachers finding it. It's also most certainly not that it gets as violent as DDLC does as Natsuki pretty explicitly says she doesn't like horror. I also doubt it's yuri (hehe). While Natsuki being queer or not is... A topic on its own, given how Monika teases Natsuki, I would find it unlikely that she's keeping a lesbian slice of life in the club without Monika ever pointing out the fact.

That being said... That's also the only thing I can think of that would be revolting and not, uh, revolting. You know? Also, (I'm just playing Plus as we speak, I took a break from playing so don't quote me on this) Natsuki says she's written fanfiction in the past, online communities revolving around fanfiction tend to heavily favor same sex pairings so that's something.

It also crossed my mind that maybe Parfait Girls is from Korea or China, and she might have a very nationalist and traditional parent that wouldn't aprove of it... But apparently those have respective names (Korean being Manwha) so I'm not too sure on that either.

To me the most likely options are;

• He's THAT controlling even before Monika even touches anything, and he would get mad at Natsuki for enjoying something so childish.
• He'd be mad she spent money on that instead of something more productive.

This game actually made me sad for a while. Act 2's ending got me real bad. You couldn't do anything about yuri. You couldn't try to save her. You couldn't scream for help or cry. You couldn't even bury her. You just stood there. Watched as her smile faded. Her purple eyes became white. Her skin grew paler. Her blood became dry and darker and her corpse decayed. For two days. You did nothing but stare at her dead body for two days. Monika is on really thin ice. If it wasn't for her realizing that she is nothing but lines of codes in a game that is not real I would've REALLY hated her. (Yes she's still my favorite)

What i love the most about these 2, that makes them my favorites, is their KINDNESS.

This is especially prominent with Sayori, Sayori is a ball of sunshine, and she's so kind and selfless that she's even willing to destroy herself, it's even a bit unhealthy and she should DEFINETLY control it more, but it still shows how caring she is and how kind and empathetic she is.

MC is also very kind, he doesn't express it as much, but it's clear he cares ALOT and is supportive no matter what route he is, it kinda makes me sad that we don't get to see his toughts in Acts 2 and 3, but it's still clear how kind he is.

This is also why they're such a good ship, they complement eachother.

this kindness makes me especially excited about them because i myself am BIG on empathy and compassion, it's the core of my morals, so having these characters be so kind instantly makes me love them
