Data Center

Hi all- I don't live in Culpeper, but my mom does, and I am deeply troubled about what is happening with the construction of the new data center. I didn't grow up in Culpeper, but over the years it has become the "home" that I come back to. I really love this town, and the fact that that this is happening is so heartbreaking to me. What do other people think about this? Culpeper is a historic small town in a beautiful area of the world, and plopping this gargantuan data campus right next to it is so wrong. Not only is it going to be right next to our downtown area, but it's next to the National Cemetery, which is so disrespectful. I feel so powerless, and I know that a lot of people who live there full time feel the same way. I'd love to help in whatever way that I can, so I just thought I'd make a post to see what others in the community think.

Trash and Recycling in NW Culpeper

I'm having a new home build on Scotts Mill road in NW Culpeper and just went to set up trash and recycling service except nobody seems to service that area. I contacted Waste Management and Republic Services and I looked at the town trash collection map and my area doesn't show up.

Does anybody know what company services rural Culpeper?

Poker nights.

Hello all. I’m in town (from Denver) due to a death in the family. It looks like I’ll be here (technically in Orange) for a few months. I’m starting to kind of go crazy with the lack of things to do. Does anyone know of any places that do bar poker? Not looking to find games where tons of money is on the line just looking for friendly folks who play 10/20 dollar buy in tournaments.

As title says. My significant other and I are trying to find a 2-3 bedroom 1 bathroom townhouse/appt to rent in or around Culpepper. We’ve toured at a few places so far but options seem to be quite limited. If anyone has any ideas on where to look or what to steer clear let me know!
