HOLY. COW. I’m personally a huge fan of underwater horror. My excitement for this update is EXPLOSIVE. How prominent will this creature be in the Aquatic Realm? Is it aggressive? How will such a large creature interact with players? Whatever the case, all I know is this thing is big and mysterious, which makes it all the more intriguing.

We finally got a cephalopod tha doesn’t look weird hooray

I don’t like kosing, so in order to shadow grind I use lure. I’ve noticed the places where I’ve built a lure, once I’m done and leave then later come back I can’t place it in not just that spot, but in that whole area.
Image supposed to show how large the areas were “black listed” to now I can’t even place a den. It’s practically covering the entirety of the mountains and oasis areas.

I'm sorry for killing you. I was nesting as Akanthos, and managed to get up to 32 nests in a session. I wanted to protect you, first from another baby Kendyll, who was reckless attacking you, twice. Then against Koipise, who was in my pack earlier, and who left the pack after my usual crash (I have to use vpn to play), and now was harassing our own pack. I thought I hit them, and used the shadow barrage, only to find you dead (you were around 5-10% hp before I hit you). I'm sincerely sorry, and hope that you have some better time playing the game. I have failed you, as a mother...

I LOVE this new realm it’s everything I could’ve asked for. Bigger oceans better landscapes and looks like an actual ecosystem and not a small pond with rocks. (even thought that is one but you get what I mean.) I just cannot wait any longer to play this!

I have a big liking for maw fin though lol.

I think it's one of the most fun species released recently. It lends itself well to ailment stacking while also allowing you to build for full DPS. Its abilities are so versatile, and you must use them well to make the most of this guy, which is a level of strategy most tier 5s lack. Its climber is buggy at the moment, but that's the only real gripe I have with Akanthos.
