I did search the subreddit to see if this has been asked before. I didn’t find any helpful info.
I’m looking for apartments in the area but not necessarily the luxury apartments. The problem I’m running into is the apartment listings look great but then I check the ratings on google and yelp and they are terrible. They either have issues with pests or mold. I also see a lot about poor management but that’s less of a concern. However, the mold and pests are a deal breaker.
Can anyone recommend any apartments or private rentals that don’t have pests or mold issues?
Thank you in advance!
EDIT:
For more context it’s just me and my two dogs. So I’m considering studio or 1 bedroom. I don’t want roommates. And my budget is flexible but I want something reasonable so preferably below 3K.
I’m going to be staying at the Marriott Costa Mesa near but the daily parking fee is really expensive. Is there any other parking options by there that will let me go in and out? Please help me thank you.
My fiancé was just offered a job in Costa Mesa, and we’re seriously considering a move from Denver to Orange County. We’re in our early 30s and looking for an area that feels safe, walkable, and close to things we enjoy—beach access, good restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping.
We’re not big on going out every weekend anymore, but we do want a fun, social atmosphere where there’s still a sense of community and things to do. We also have a 5yr old Vizsla who comes everywhere with us, so being in a walkable area w/ parks, or the beach is a big plus.
We’re mainly looking at Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and surrounding areas, and hoping to keep rent around $6k/month. Would love recommendations on specific neighborhoods or areas you’d suggest—and any spots you’d avoid.
I’ll be honest, this move feels a little outside my comfort zone. Feeling safe in where we live is really important to me, so I’m trying to be thoughtful about choosing the right area. I’d really appreciate any insight from people who know the area well.
We have a show coming up at Radiant Beer in Anaheim on May 16th and unfortunately our drummer had to pull out suddenly. We’re looking for someone who can learn an hour long set, 6-7 songs, and rehearse during the day. All the songs have midi drums so you can learn that way. You will be compensated for your time.
Our band name is Widowsun. Think indie rock mixed with doomy shoegaze. Here’s some links
I’m looking for a local photographer (in CM, preferably) who can do a natural/editorial style portrait session. I’m looking for an artistic, intimate portrait session with a soft/nature-inspired vibe — more editorial than traditional boudoir. Does anyone have any recommendations? If so, please link Instagram pages and/or websites. Thanks!
Since La Vida is gone, what’s the next best taco Tuesday with tvs and a vibe?
Hi,
My husband and I recently moved to Costa Mesa and own a creative marketing agency. We are looking for a small office space, ideally with access to or with 1 separate conference room. Bonus points if it's newer/filled with light.
Most times it would be 4 people in the office, with a busy day being closer to 8. We are looking to work in person 2-3 days per week.
Looking for something reasonably priced since we likely won't be in more than a couple of days per week.
Thank you!
