Wtf is wrong with the game man. It used to be so much fun but now? Aim for the legs until you have lvl 4 trader. Cause a ronin with full face protection should have more dura and blunt Reduction then any other t4 helmet. 7 headshots with a 7.62x39 scar from close range or 5 shots in the legs hmmmm better aim for the fucking legs. Bro there is no point in trying to fight on range. There is not even a point in going for the 7.62x39 weapons because you cant even buy the common ammo until you have igor 3 Like wtf. Just why. Because timmies cried about getting one tapped and now they switched to pve xd

Hey all,

My cousin and I both play on Quest (2/3) and we’re running into the same issue – the headset presses into our eyebrows/forehead and after a bit it gives us headaches and even makes us feel kind of sick/woozy. Yeeah, we’re both in our mid 30s and oldddddddd but this is never really an issue when I do hours of vtol or flight sims in vr.

We’ve tried adjusting straps and whatnot but I just can NOT find a sweet spot. Is there a secret trick to setting this up? I feel stupid asking this cuz I’ve had a quest 3 for years now, but I’ve never really gotten the perfect, comfortable fit.

Now that we’re doing hours of exfil, we have to keep calling it quits early because one of us is getting a headache/woozy from pressure points above and below our eyebrows (I think 🤷‍♂️) for reference I already upgraded my strap to a kiwi one when I bought it originally. It’s great, but it doesn’t seem to be enough.

Is this just a fit issue, or are there better straps/face covers/settings that actually fix this? Curious what setups you guys are using for longer sessions without needing constant breaks. One viewer of mine suggested wearing a beanie under the headset and that MIGHT actually work 🤔

Anybody else have this issue or are we just weak? 😩

Killed two people on different raids one scav and one pmc and I couldn’t find a dog tag from my kill do they sometimes not spawn (glitch or something)

Got the drop on a guy, rocking 556 fmj, sprayed his head and chest. Saw blood spatters from the head and definitely hit his chest rig with at least 15 bullets. Emptied my entire clip of 30 rounds into what im pretty sure was a t4 chest rig and a basic helmet t3 or 4. He turned and killed me.

The after action report said i dealt a total of 145 dmg while his slow turn after i mag dumped his head and cheat from 6m away was 336.

I gave me the option to turn yellow and I hung it there and now I don't have that poster anymore I wish I would have just sold it.

It is so dark in every indoor location. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if the flashlights would work, but they cut off like 5 meters in front of you, and they have such a tight cone. Its so hard to see indoors its ridiculous

Returning to the game from a long break and I cannot find any posters anywhere? They were the best things to find no way they removed them?

Doesn't say what map it is on and every truck I have found with ARK containers doesn't work. Any hints?

So at lvl 2 ARK I get ammo 5.56 - M865 which basically negates all lvl 3 armors and require 2/3 shots to kill but to beat lvl 4 armor, I need 12/14 shots to the chest (teseted on shooting range). The difference in required shots to kill is gigantic! Just one level higher in ammo and from 12/14 required shots, it again drops down to 2/3 againts lvl 4 armor and so on.

It basically makes low/med penetration ammo uselles as it is way better to buy HP with zero pen and go for the legs. This is really werid balance....

Is it true that your PVE progress won’t be wiped?

If so, that is AMAZING!

I don’t have much time to play and this will make my slow pace worth continuing with.

I remember when they first introduced the the yellow Altyn boss at resort. He was the first boss who's armor, especially the chest rig, was kinda useless because of the durability.

I think it's good and fun that this wipe, the significantly lowered the durability of dropped armor by scavs. I was really worried that the elite scavs would be a too easy armor farm.

But today I did my first mall mission and we straight away encountered mall boss. It was fucking scary with lvl 1 traders gear 🤣

But after we killed him, the mall boss armor had like 70 durability and it was fully broken. Basically not worth the weight it has with that durability.

I think the bosses that are harder to kill should have a bit bigger reward. He already doesn't spawn with the PKP anymore.

We now have a few bosses that drop nothing (smuggling tunnel boss etc) and some bosses that are absolute bullet sponges, but give now reward.

Not that I miss everybody running around with mall boss... But now we can buy IOTV armor in the store, top tier armor is for sale. Just give us like 120-150 durability on the mall boss or something

How do I get over my gear fear?

I only have it when playing solo and completely alone. It’s nonexistent when playing in a group and it’s mitigated when I’m on a discord call with the boys. It’s not about not having enough gear I have like 12 sets of equipment sitting in base and about 8M credits in gold, goblets and statues.

I don’t experience gear fear in non vr extraction shooters just vr ones. My running theory is that it feels a whole lot more personal. It could also be that my past experience going in with a full kit doesn’t end well. I want to say my extraction rate with a kit is about 50% maybe and going in naked is closer to 90%.

Why is the bunker so dark in pve. I switch over to pvp and I can see perfectly fine with the lights off but in pve it's dark as fuck.

Just got into the game, noticed I sometimes get drops into the 80s when on higher elevation. Since the games playable on a q2 I just assumed I could crank all the settings and would be perfectly fine at max settings.

Any tips?

I want to talk about one annoying thing that I don't think has been discussed here yet. I'm a newcomer who bought the game after the PvE patch (thanks Penguin, love your posts).

I have some experience with extraction shooters, both PvP and PvE, so I picked up the mechanics pretty fast. I won't go on about how good the game is, I'll just say that I barely touched my Quest 3 for the past year, and now I've been launching it every evening for 4-5 days in a row.

Now to the problem: WHY DO BOTS RESPAWN SO INSANELY FAST? I'm doing the starter quests at the Dam and few evenings in a row I ran into the exact same issue at the exact same spot, where Igor's quest requires you to find two cans of gunpowder. That village already spawns 6-8 scavs, but the problem is they respawn literally in 3-4 minutes.

As a new player, I need some time to just reload my mags, unload the scav mags, check all the boxes, and somewhere in the middle of all that another 2-4 bots spawn in. Not sure if this is specific to that location because I've seen the same thing in other places too.

And the timing problem wouldn't feel so bad if the bots spawned at some distance and walked toward your POI like a patrol, but they literally spawn 40-50 meters in front of you in the middle of the road, fully in your line of sight.

Please confirm that you're experiencing this too and I'm not going crazy, because I find it really strange that nobody is talking about this on Reddit.
