Mind Control and manipulation is very well documented but no one ever talks about it**!** even in most conspiracy circles. Its implications are gigantic and imo it is the single most powerful way the controllers sustain control and make sure everyone important sticks to the script. I think its not often discussed because the system does a good job of steering people away from these themes, and also its too scary on some deep level, for most people to face.

Anyways! I had a random recollection about this movie which i've not seen for a long time, and it occurred to me how prophetic it was....

'The Box' obviously = WIFI (very soon before it was publicly known about)

1995: Depiction of a type of mass-mind control or mind manipualtion seemingly using WiFi-style tech in the movie Batman Forever

1997: the first actual IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN standard was approved. It supported only 1–2 Mbps, so this is basically the origin date for standardized Wi-Fi tech

Look at picture 3 for a bullet list of the Box' capabilities. Id say some of these seem totaly fantasy to us, but Im proposing that most of these could be possible, especially with 6/7/8g network tech - or when used in combination with NEURALINK type devices in the not so distant future. Im proposing that WiFi was always a military industrial complex invention which has a lot more uses and implications than we have been told about. Seems to me what they presented in Batman is like their end goal of what they want Wifi to do. And i think they made the link a little bit too obvious!

It is already a well known theory that Wifi is capable of 'scraping thoughts' for example - essentially reading your mind (remember those adverts that pop up about something you thought about but never talked to anyone about?)

Aaand funnily enough! In BATMAN : the Dark Knight they give us a glimpse of tech which seems to use wifi-type (military industrial) tech to map where people are and how they are moving, even though they call it something else instead of WiFi. But IRL this tech is proved to exist (using phones and wifi).
If you think about it, Bruce Wayne's company is ofc a military industrial one. I think his whole persona is designed from insider knowledge and based on some kind of kingpin elitist within that world. They are showing off/boasting and revealing the method.

I think what they show in Batman Forever with this device is a massive disclosure, and a smoking gun for conspiracy enthusiasts.
I think theres a lot more lins and interesting connections here than Ive explained too, I didnt dig very far at all.

Below is a full breakdown of all of the info available on the concept of the Box (and what was taken out of the final movie)

The Box is not just “TV mind control.” In Batman Forever it is a brainwave interface / immersive-hologram device / neural siphon / mind-mapper. It is shown or stated to do a lot more than one thing. The closest accurate summary is: it beams TV/fantasy content into the brain, mesmerizes the viewer, siphons neural energy/IQ, can scale that theft citywide, and later evolves into a machine that can map minds and expose secrets.

What The Box is explicitly shown or said to do in the movie

Beam television directly into the brain. Nygma’s original pitch to Bruce is that the device sends any TV signal straight into the human brain, stimulates neurons, manipulates brainwaves, and makes the viewer feel like they are “inside the show.” Bruce rejects it specifically as brainwave tampering / mind manipulation.

Create immersive 3D / holographic experiences. In the finished film Nygma markets the improved Box as offering “fully interactive holographic fantasies,” and the transcript makes clear that this effect is generated by a carrier wave beamed into the brain. In the drafts, the device is pitched as a 3D enhancer and “holographic” entertainment system.

Mesmerize or distract the user while it does something else. In both the transcript and revised draft, Stickley is absorbed by the 3D TV illusion while Nygma drains him; in the revised script the same basic principle is used on Mrs. Lucertola, where holographic TV keeps her attention off the theft happening to her mind.

Steal “neural energy” / IQ from the subject and transfer it to Nygma. This is one of the core functions, not a side-effect once the story gets going. In the finished-film transcript Nygma says he used Stickley’s neural energy to become smarter; in the revised draft he explains he is not taking thoughts so much as siphoning IQ / neural energy. The film’s overall plot summary also describes the device as extracting information from Gotham’s minds and feeding Nygma’s.

Make Nygma progressively smarter / enlarge his brain power. The drafts repeatedly describe Riddler’s brain growing as Gotham uses the devices, and the press kit even notes that Carrey’s later look reflects that Nygma has “expanded his brain” with his invention.

Let other people “take a hit” from stolen intellect/brainpower. In the finished-film transcript Riddler demonstrates the Box to Two-Face, says the first hit is free, and offers more. In the revised draft he literally routes stolen neural energy from Sugar/Spice/Leather/Lace into Two-Face and the others, treating it like an addictive rush.

Act like an addictive narcotic. This is discussed on the in-universe TV panel: critics call the Box an “electronic narcotic,” say Gothamites are tuning out by tuning in, and claim it is turning citizens into zombies. That is debate inside the film, not just fan extrapolation.

Scale from single-victim use to mass collection across Gotham. The revised and production scripts show the consumer rollout, with lines for the product, homes full of Boxes, and Riddler receiving the neural energy through a huge central setup on Claw Island. The finished-film transcript also says there is “hardly a home” without one.

Feed Nygma private data and secrets, not just raw IQ. In the finished film Batman accuses Riddler of first sucking Gotham’s brainwaves and then devising mind-reading; Riddler boasts that the global rollout will feed him financial and intimate secrets such as card numbers, bank codes, fantasies and lies. The production draft phrases the same idea as harvesting codes, combinations, crimes, infidelities and lies.

Map the human mind. This is a major upgrade. After Bruce steps into the party demonstration, Riddler says he taught the Box a new trick: it can map the human mind. The revised draft says it “does more than drain your brain” and now makes a map of the mind.

Read minds / extract images from the mind. Chase directly asks at the party: if you can put images into the mind, what stops you from extracting them out? Later Batman states that Riddler has devised a way to read minds, and Riddler agrees.

Expose subconscious imagery, fears and identity clues. At the party demo, Nygma’s prompts target dreams, fantasies, secrets and fears. Later he uses what the Box pulled from Bruce’s mind to identify the bat imagery and deduce Bruce Wayne is Batman.

Function as an anti-tamper device, at least in script form. In both drafts Alfred opens a unit in the Batcave and the circuitry automatically vaporizes. I would treat that as draft/script canon, because I’m leaning on script text there, not a clean theatrical transcript line.

What The Box is actually used for in the story

Corporate pitch / prototype demo. Nygma first tries to sell it to Bruce as the future of entertainment and brainwave tech.

Illegal human experimentation. He uses it on Stickley to prove it works, then on his landlady in the revised script.

Personal self-enhancement. He uses stolen neural energy to make himself smarter and more powerful.

Recruitment leverage with Two-Face. He demonstrates the brain-rush value of the Box to win Harvey over and secure robbery support / production capital.

Mass consumer scam / citywide siphon. Nygma markets it as home entertainment while secretly harvesting Gotham’s minds.

Party trap for Bruce Wayne. The “New Improved Box” demo is used to scan Bruce specifically. That is the step that gives Riddler enough information to identify Batman.

Blueprint for global blackmail / domination. Riddler’s own stated endgame is not merely Gotham sales; it is worldwide rollout and harvesting secrets at scale.

What deleted scenes / scripts add beyond the theatrical cut

These are the extra bits that deepen the concept:

The proper early name is “RES Box” / Remote Encephalographic Stimulator. The Wayne Enterprises pitch scene in the drafts uses that terminology. Fandom pages preserve a similar official-name variant, but the script is the stronger source here.

The Mrs. Lucertola scene explains the mechanism much more clearly than the finished film. It shows Nygma intentionally using holographic TV as a sedative/distraction while he steals neural energy, then openly fantasizing about putting one in every home. That scene is in the revised script and is also noted by the 1995 Batman script comparison page.

There was a scripted opera robbery using the Box as a crowd-transfixing tool. In the revised script, Riddler attaches a Box to the opera translator screen, the audience is transfixed, and the robbery proceeds. That does not appear in the theatrical cut.

There were extended Claw Island / NygmaTech development scenes and a Box press conference. Multiple cutting-room reconstructions describe deleted material showing the construction of NygmaTech on Claw Island, Nygma visiting the site, and more of the Box press-conference rollout.

There was more material of Bruce and Alfred examining a Box. That is documented in the cutting-room writeup and matches the script material where Alfred opens a unit.

There was also a deleted scene of the villains philosophically talking while taking hits from the Box. That again comes from deleted-material reporting rather than a publicly accessible clean scene transcript, so I’d label it documented-but-secondary.

What the film does not really prove

This is the important correction to the “mind control Gotham” memory:

The material absolutely supports mass brainwave theft, addiction-like zombification, immersive hallucination, mind-reading, and secret extraction.

Something About This Story Doesn’t Sit Right

Some internet mysteries feel like puzzles. This one feels like a locked door with something breathing behind it. The account TMB SPACESHIPS didn’t just post strange ideas. It built a narrative over time. Technical, precise, and increasingly personal. Then it stopped. The same morning a real person disappeared. No dramatic goodbye. No explanation. What Is TMB Spaceships?

Launched in November 2022, the account branded itself as “Electric Propulsive Spacecraft Systems.” Subtle as a UFO landing in a Walmart parking lot.

It claimed:

• A 38-year U.S. Air Force career
• A PhD in engineering
• Ties to elite military research institutions

At first, it looked like dense, academic posting. The kind you scroll past unless you’ve got a PhD and three coffees in you. But over time, patterns emerged. This wasn’t just theory. It read like someone describing systems they had actually worked on.

The Posts That Raised Eyebrows… Then Alarm Bells

By mid-2025, the tone shifted. Instead of abstract physics, the account began making direct claims:

• Participation in USAF weather control systems
• Work on experimental propulsion dating back decades
• Knowledge of classified research entering declassification pipelines
• References to unconventional navigation systems that bypass GPS entirely

Then came a concept that doesn’t exist in public science databases:

Thermostatic Vector Sensing

That phrase alone has become a rabbit hole inside the rabbit hole. It appears nowhere else, like a word invented in a locked room.

“I Lost My Military Retirement”

Buried in a July 2025 post was a line that hit with zero subtlety:

>“I LOST MY MILITARY RETIREMENT over posting like these.”

That’s not vague internet storytelling. That’s a claim with legal and financial consequences. If it’s real, there should be records. If it’s not, it’s an oddly specific lie to tell repeatedly. Either way, it pulls the story out of sci-fi and into something uncomfortably real.

The 2027 Timestamp That Won’t Go Away

Then, almost casually, the account dropped this:

>“Wait till after the show begins, late 2027.”

No elaboration. No follow-up. Just a future date hanging there like a loaded question. People love a good prophecy. But this one didn’t feel theatrical. It felt… placed.

The Disappearance That Changed Everything

On February 27, 2026, two timelines collided:

• 10:38 AM: Final post from TMBSPACESHIPS
• ~11:00 AM: Retired Major General William Neil McCasland leaves his home in Albuquerque

He leaves behind:

• His phone
• His watch
• His glasses

And then… nothing. No confirmed sightings. No public resolution. Just a vanishing act with terrible timing.

Why Investigators Are Connecting the Dots

Online researchers and independent analysts began noticing overlaps between the account and McCasland:

• Career history aligns with the account’s claims
• Deep ties to the Air Force Research Laboratory
• Location matches references made in posts
• Technical knowledge fits someone at the top of aerospace research

There is one inconsistency. The account once described being a junior officer in 1991, which doesn’t match McCasland’s actual rank. But here’s the twist: that kind of small, strategic error could be intentional. Enough to throw off automated identification, not enough to break the overall pattern, like smudging your fingerprints but leaving your handwriting.

Is This a Whistleblower Story… or Something Else?

Let’s call it like it is.

There are only a few realistic possibilities:

1. A whistleblower leaking information in coded form
2. An elaborate, highly informed roleplay account
3. A real individual sharing truth mixed with misdirection
4. Something we don’t have a clean category for yet

The problem? None of these explanations fully satisfy the timeline. Especially the ending.

Why This Story Sticks With You

Most internet mysteries fade because they lack weight.

This one has it. A real person is missing. That fact anchors everything else. It forces you to take the story seriously, even when parts of it sound impossible. And then there’s the archive itself. Hundreds of posts. Technical. Consistent. Unfinished. Like notes left on a desk that someone never came back to.

Final Thought: The Clock Is Ticking

Whether this was a warning, a performance, or something in between, one detail refuses to fade:

Late 2027. Maybe it’s nothing. Or maybe it’s the kind of breadcrumb you only recognize after you’ve already walked past it.
